Problems with Grape Apes in Greenhouse, other strains look amazing(PICS!!)

Hello, so over the last couple weeks I've noticed my plants getting yellow. I realize this is pretty normal. HOWEVER, my Grape Apes seem to be experiencing some other problems, and I'm beginning to think it's overwatering.

The funny thing is all the plants are on the same schedule, the Hollywoods, and Purple Train Wreck are LOVING it, lush green foliage, older leaves yellowing up, the leaves are all pointing straight up collecting all that glorious sunlight, while the Grape Apes are not, and the coloring on them is getting worse.

I'm now convinced the yellowing on the Grape Apes IS NOT normal yellowing of the plant, and that something is indeed wrong with it. It just does not look as healthy. I ddont even think these pics do them justice. The PH in the soil seems off too, but why would the soil be off in just GA? They all have the same soil mix, etc. So Im getting a soil PH test tomorrow to make sure my readings are right. The water they get watered with is around 7.0.

Greenhouse Grow, 3 strains. This is my journal, so you can actually see the plant getting worse I think.

Anyway, here are the pics, any help would be greatly appreciated. Specifically those with experience with Grape Ape in soil.

This first pic is one of the Grape Apes, they all look similar.

The second one is of the plants that looks real good, you can just see the difference with how green and happy thr leaves look.

The last is just another pic of the GA, you can just see how discolored it is compared to the rest.

Yah, I wondered the same, that is what I thought originally, but then everything I read suggested yellowing is normal. I believe the other plants are showing NORMAL yellowing for a flowering plant, while the GA is showing something is seriously wrong.

I'm going to completely dry out the pots, and see what happens, maybe give them some grow food diluted so they don't get a crazy dose of it.

I am giving them Boutea Bloom which is 1.6, 3, 6, and 3 times a week, I give them molasses. Perhaps that is locking out N as well? It's frustrating though because the other plants are so happy how things are, where as this GA is pissed about something.

Well this is good to hear, do you think giving them some Grow nutes will solve this problem after I dry out the soil?

yes, molasses can cause nute lock out issues if you give them too much of it.. i wouldn't give more than one tbs per gallon of water of molasses, and give it some added nitrogen for a few feeds and see if that doesn't bring them back around..

Hmm, I've been doing 2 tbls.. I guess the GA is just way more finicky with it. I'll give them a foliar feed with some N in it, early in the morning and hope that greens them back up, or atleast retards the spread, then I'll give them a drench of grow nutes at 1/4 strength I think.

it may not green up what is already affected, but it should slow down any new yellowing from happening.. keep an eye on the newest growth and see how that's coming in..
foliar feeding is an excellent way to get some quick nutes into the plants for sure.. i have recently started doing this on my grows with some worm castings tea, and it really keeps them nice and lush for sure..
and yah, my one girl who knows tons about growing filled me in on the too much molasses causing lock out, and i found out in the hard way that she was right, lol.. so, yah, cut it back to 1 tbs per gallon.. how often do you use it? with every feed, every watering or what?? i try to only use it with the feeds, which is like every other watering or so..

I have 12 plants in the GH, so I fill an 18 gallon tote to near full, dump in 2 cups of Molasses, stir it up real good and frothy and water them through sprayers attached to a pump. I do this 3 days a week, usually, Tues, Fri and Sunday. As for feeding, I just feed them every watering, I'm completely organic so I'm not concerned with burning. I water once a day for 3 minutes through the sprayers mid morning.

nitrogen deficiency it definitively has the tell tale signs of yellowing leafs. they also are curling down starting from the top so i would guess any of the deficiency could be its lack of intake of nitrogen possible by some nuterient lockout could be caused by ph could be over water the leaf curl is sugesting that for sure and we dont know where the yelloeing of the leafs started.middle? top? was the curl first or after. so here is what you can do at this point, don't water the soil unless it really needs it which is when it pulls away from the edges getting dry put your fingers in it a few inches down make sure its not moist then the next time it actully for sure needs water give it some light nutrient with some for of nitrogen in it haveing earthworm casting in your soil would totaly prevent early fade to beging with but if your a organic guy this is a perfect time for some tea if your not advanced nutreints makes revive also might wanna think about a litttle sensizyme because if you have been overwatering like you think you probly made yourself a little rootslime so your going to want something to take care of it maybe the addition of a humic acid humboltds flavorfull is nice for that i just want you to keep those big roots healthy if you happend to overwater them also makesure there not to cold i dont know what there sitting on and what the temps are i know here in michigan this time of year greenhouse containers have to large enough to leave enough soil to insulate hope that helps

Yah, I think my problem is N lockout, due to excessive molasses feeding. I suspect the GA just does not like so much Molasses, where as the other two strains love it. So I will be completely drying out the pot, and give them a foilar feed, and some nitrogen heavily diluted when I water the soil again.

My soil mix has earthwarm castings in there, the tea I use has humic acid as well.

yah, as you're now learning, some strains like different levels of different nutrients, and are affected by different things differently as well, lol... such as the too much molasses for one..
this is one reason why it's recommended to only grow one strain at at time so that you can learn that strain and perfect it before moving on to something new.. i never do this either, lol, as i love variety, and love to grow more than one at a time as well.. it just tends to make things that much harder for me, but i always enjoy a challenge, lol.. :)

Hopefully I can save them and get a decent yield out of them, silver linings this is good, I can tell the Grape Ape is going to be huge, I cloned it to as well so I need to learn all I can from it, for when I grow it again. I'll also just totally cut back on Molasses, just do 2 feedings a week, at 1 tbls. These plants have at least another 4 weeks I'm guessing, so I don't need to run into this problem later down the line with them.

So, if these leaves never color back up, then what happens 3 weeks from now? The whole plant is yellow?
