Im not really sure whats wrong here. They are in 5 gal buckets with fox farm ocean mix, some worm castings, coco fibers, and a little perlite. Ive been giving them maxicrop kelp (1 Tbs/gal), fish hydro and emulsion (1/2 Tbs ea./gal), gh floralicious gro (1 tps/gal), and cat. fert 2-7-7 (4 drops per gal). This mix is arated and phed to about 6.5. I just started ph'ing it down recently from using just tap water arated over night. They are under 4 ft T5's with 3 veg n 1 bloom bulb.. Any ideas what could be wrong?? :peace:

mmmh looks almost like nut burn but your managing everything pretty good could just be normal death from growth I'd cut the dying leafs off and double check the soil ph are you in flowering or veggin
what the temp in the room

The temp is always around 75-77. I have just been ph testing the water, I guess I should get a soil tester. They are on 18/6 now.

Yes they could be root bound, but they are in 5 gal buckets. 6 months old though... maybe theyve reached their max size, but the bubba kush's next to them are taller and look great. hmmm

Ive also looked for bugs and havent found anything...

Trim off some roots and cut back the foliage and then repot with fresh soil, or consider keeping hydro mums. ;-)

i'd just take a couple clones and start up new mothers. keep this one and the clones until the clones are big enough to handle your motherly needs.

edit**** that is if they are root bound...

They look deficient so if they've already used up the nutes in the soil then they are rootbound.

Maybe let your tap water sit out for longer to make sure all chlorine is evaporated I have been seeing similar symptoms on other grows around my area a lot lately, I think the municipalities upped the amount of chlorine in the water recently because it never used to be a problem

hmm. Interesting. Ive been using air stones to aerate the water over night before use. I think rootbound or some type of root problem is probably the best bet. Im going to flower them in 5 weeks, so I might put them in like 12-18 gal rubbermaid bins, I dont know. Those seem big. I might just cut back some of the plant mass leaving the good top nug spots and see what happens. For now Ive given them 2 ph'ed flushes, the second with super thrive. Today I will feed with nutes again at a weak level ( prob just kelp, fish hydrolysate, and some floralicious gro). Thanks for all the input.. much appriciated. :eyesmoke:

Looks like you might have Magnesium Deficiency , try a 2 % solution of Epson Salts , foliar spray a little every day for a week before you do anything rash. ALSO , concentrate on the new growth , if the new growth looks good then you are probably OK . Hope this helps.

Some cannabis plants have purple stems, and later towards harvest time purple leaves , I believe they call it a "phenotype" ( fancy word for traits).

I would give it a foliar spray of ES 2 %, no more.
Tbs = TaBelSpoon ,, tsp =teaspoon
