Yeah most mid to late flower nanners dont pollenize the plants from my experince as well.. i learned this along time ago from the arcata cut train wreckThis is true. Good idea for the OP to also google bananas too to know what to look for if there visable ones.
Still curious as to if there infact where seeds cos I got fooled couple times when I first started, and they wernt seeds just bracts or inner shell of Calais.
I've always been lucky when ever I jave got nannas and they have been on top of the bud myself, my current strain likes to throw a couple here and there, haven't been seeded yet tho few runs now and haven't been seeded yet fingers crossed.
I think you may be right. I pulled another lower bud and uptown closer examination after what someone, I'm not sure who, said earlier about it possibly being the inside of a bud. The calias shell thing I think? They look a bit like seeds so I'm sure that's all it was. This is true. Good idea for the OP to also google bananas too to know what to look for if there visable ones.

Thank you so much. Yeah I picked about 5 total off of 2 plants. They seem to be ok now. No balls or other nanners. I'll update in the coming days on weather I find more or what.Dont pick the buds with the nanners just pick the nanners. Spraying them doesn't make em inert it just weighs em down so pollen not flying around with the fan breeze. If it's a few pick but if they keep coming remove or segregate the problem plant. Nanners dont burst like seeds they just release so mainly affect buds near or under them unless fan spreads it. Stay vigilantly on watch for nanners at this point throughout this grow. A couple seeds is cool but pollination of entire crop sucks balls.
U were just lucky cus they pollinate in late flower for sure. Plant will not only nanner up if u take to long to harvest but seed up fast. Plants last effort to keep offspring going. When u see a seed u got time before it pollinates but if u see a nanner its already released. Nanners is whats inside the seeds if u open it up.most mid to late flower nanners dont pollenize the plants
Never heard of a plant over ripening into a herm.U were just lucky cus they pollinate in late flower for sure. Plant will not only nanner up if u take to long to harvest but seed up fast. If u dont know now u know.Never heard of a plant over ripening into a herm.
I know bad genetics and environmental stress causes buds to herm.If u dont know now u know.

What Causes Bananas (“Nanners”) on Cannabis Buds? | Fast Buds
What are "nanners", what's the difference between bananas and hermaphrodites, and what to do with them.2fast4buds.com
That's actually one of the ways we used to make fem seeds. Some plants with otherwise great genetics and perfect environment will throw out nanners from the buds if given enough time.I know bad genetics and environmental stress causes buds to herm.
Doesnt change the fact that seeds are the result of pollination, there aren't nanners in seeds, and an otherwise healthy plant isn't going to herm by being left in the garden to ripen up.
I just looked at this thread real quick..how many day are you from flipping the lights to 12/12?There's a couple things that could have caused them. Definitely light leak. It's in our bathroom that joins to a hallway and our bedroom. We're pretty good about keeping the lights off and the door sealed and shut and everything and sealed under the doors in the windows but every now and then we'll open the door to go to the bathroom in the dark or something and it will leak bite for a couple seconds but two to three times a night every night might have done it. Also there's a time about a week and a half to two weeks ago where we went out of town for 3 days and got back a little late and the plans were extremely dehydrated and wilting. I watered them and they were better but it was a very fastest situation and I thought I might have lost them
Of course u didn't read it i guess. Nanners are the seeds without the outer shell. Thats why pollen is already released once u see em. I've opened em up myself and seen. Do u wanna see pics?there aren't nanners in seeds,
False. Wrong again. If u miss your ripe window the plant goes into survival mode and grows nanners. Some genetics are more susceptible to it. Some are stronger just like ones that are resist to mold or pest.healthy plant isn't going to herm by being left in the garden to ripen up.
80 hrs without water is nothing unless u in coco. I know guys in 5 gallon buckets of soil that go 3-5 days. Here's that day. It had been about 80 hours since their last water.View attachment 5209221
