I've seen 16oz come from one bagseed of an unidentified "kush" strain. It had one 1000w on it for a month of veg and six or six and a half weeks of flower. Another 1000w added to the side for the remaining three weeks or so. In a DWC with lucas (I think it was lucas. Can't remember if that was before or after the switch). Strain was high yielding, good quality. Prone to hermies later down the road. I think the strain and the side lighting played crucial roles in its production.
It's more efficient and less stress to do smaller plants. Not to mention faster.
