Yeah dude your just paranoid. Answer the phone next time, if they call. Sometimes credit card companies are funny about when and where you use your credit card. They probably just saw it was used in a different country and decided to call and see if it was legit. All is good

Yea man I'm sure they just want to check that it was you who made that purchase and not someone else. Especially because it is an overseas purchase.

I bought a TV in a different city and the credit card company rejected my purchase. I was pretty embarrased at the check out counter and had to call the credit card company and ask wtf? The credit card company said it looked unusual or something. I was like wtf? I am at Target!
Anyways man Im sure everything is fine.

Ya, they can turn you in but you'd have to be doing some pretty obvious purchasing and also be an asshole to them on the fone.. The posts here that claim they're just checking, they are accurate. Banks and CC companies do that to me also. In fact, it happened to me just a few weeks ago regarding something unrelated to this.

Yea youre just paranoid lol.Don't sweat it,they are just protecting you.Everytime I use my visa card from my main bank(online purchases),they will put my purchase on hold till they get ahold of me or I call them to speed things up.Which I usualy have to call them. They don't say shit to me half the time when they put a hold on a purchase. The main reason why they do it,cause its so easy to steal credit/debit cards #s these days.
