Hiya, I am just taking a minute to make a thread here in nutrients section as I have debated this in other sections and got a bland idea of increasing dilution to fix my issues; since I am not going to partake in the flush and nutrient change until tomorrow when its dry, I figured I'd run by these nutes in nutrient section and see if I can come across any other growers who have used ionic, or ionic in promix in particular.
The instructions and feed schedule:
(Straight hydro, non cannabis specific). I assume promix-peatmoss would be semi hydro middle ground, doesn't have any nutrients in the medium. I fed 2 TSP of grow 3-1-5, 2 TSP of bloom 1-1-3, and drop of calmag. The nutrients is my main concern for promix, my plant had issues showing signs of toxicity, so per recommendation I have decided to increase dilution of nutrient feed after a flush, but I wanted to consult nutrient section users on their input on these NPK.
The boost it suggests I use in flower is 0-5-6 (day 37 12/12), have not fed this yet to the plants, and my youngest plant still in veg I fed only 2 TSP of grow 3-1-5 in 8 cups of water with drop of calmag, it started to yellow on bottom most leaves and new growth is dark green like its toxic stress too, so I am quite sure I will increase dilution to perhaps 16 cups per 2 TSP of nutrient feed, which comes out to roughly 10mL per 16 cups or per gallon.
The straight hydro recommendation as you see above in chart is 15-20 so I am already cutting her down initially, will cut her down more now next feed. Do you think the recommended bloom 1-1-3 and boost 0-5-6 only should be ignored, and I should add grow nutes for the nitrogen as the calmag only contains 2%, and the bloom 1%.
claws on upper leaves, up close you can see tips are burned, random spots on other leafs have dead material from a burn but rest of leaf is green.
Do you think I should supplement the bloom/boost/calmag with some nitro from grow, and do you agree 16 cup dilution for the 5-10mL nutrient feed is good increase to take as opposed to 8 cup dilution. I'm confident pH is in good range, just flushed little over day or so ago with pHd water and fed bloom only with calmag but it wasn't diluted yet so I will flush again and get it more diluted and continue with that route for rest of grow if I can get any input on nitrogen values would be great, thanks for your considerations.
