you missed half the thread,some dude came in here guns blazing throwing insults, i asked the users to stop they got back on topic , said specific guy didnt he started name calling, and throwing insults everywhere, i told him to stop two more times, he personally threatened members, i banned him,
than this other guy whos been here since 2012, is now throwing insults, ive asked him to stop, hopefully he does or he will meet the same fate
i dont care if you grow by fucking candle light, thats not my job, my job is to stop personal harassment and attacks...
i dont care if youre the fucking the queen everyone gets same treatment,
bottom line is you either listen when i ask you to stop name calling/threats or youre gone.

That's where all of this is coming from.....everyone who was correct to call out Spider LED and after it was presented they were clearly lying and guilty of fraud, yet they live on and those members don't?

May be a topic for another thread but I have not flushed since I went straight coco and GH Lucas on flood trays. My weed has been compared with straight organic soil growers that "thought" their weed was superior and they could not tell the difference when we grew out the same clones. I pump my plants about 1000-1200 ppms from day one flower to the day I chop, they burn clean and look/smell/taste as good as any I have smoked(from the same cut).
No dark days, no flushing, no problems.

I have used DIY 3x5 tables and 4x4 tables with the HPS but I'm on a smaller scale now at this location with only a 2x2 table and 14 gallon tote that I keep about 10 gallons in. The 3x5 table used a 35 gallon tote and the 4x4 tables used two 35 gallon totes plumbed together.
I fill with water on day one, add nutes and ph it then top off daily/every few days to get back to initial readings. After about a month, I'll dump the reservoir and start over. Since I grow perpetual, I usually mix the KoolBloom separately in a gallon jug and top feed only the plants 4wks or older, this time I was lazy and mixed it straight into the reservoir.
In the larger reservoirs, I had a small 60 gph pump just laying in the reservoir running to keep the solution mixed and oxygenated but in the small reservoir I skipped that pump. To feed the plants, I use another pump to pump nutes into the tray on a 24hr timer with 15 minute intervals. depending the size pots and dry out times, I feed accordingly. For example, the 2x2 tray I'm using now has a couple 6" pots and a bunch of solo cups, the cups dry out after several hours so I feed once at lights on, then every 4 hours until last feeding right at lights out, no feeding with lights out.
The benefits of a larger reservoir is less fluctuation of pH/ppms and longer time between me having to top off. Since I'm in a small cabinet, I had to use what fit and the 14gal tote fit perfectly, just requires maintenance more often. I can go about 3 days without touching it before needing to top off.

None, the reservoir is shadowed in the dark below the tray. If you get light down there, you will most likely need a lid or something to keep it dark. You can also try an air bubbler to cut down on algae or a chiller. I used a DIY reservoir chiller on the larger grows but no room on this one and it stays mid 70's to mid 80's without an issue.

How many plants do you normally run in a 2x2? I have never gone into automated growing method, but I love Hempy and I know ebb&flow can be even better.

This is my first run in the 2x2 after a long hiatus, I am still packing them in and should have about 20 solo cups by the time the tray is full and heights are worked out. I'm up to 15 now but some are from seed and some from clone while I search for the keepers to run continuously, the heights vary considerably right now. I used to grow mid 40-mid 50 in the 4x4 but they were in 6" square pots and averaged 30-36" tall, these will be shorter.
Feel free to check out my grow in my signature below for my most recent update at day 44. I feel like e/f is the BEST/most efficient grow method for me and especially now that I'm growing with COBs. With the 1k HPS over the 4x4 tray, I felt like I was wasting penetration and not getting enough area coverage. The plants in the center would bulk up but the ones on the outer edges would suffer. I'd like to eventually get back into a 4x4 but with about 600-750w of COBs spread out and kick the shit out of my old grows.
