Bullshit.
The fact is, neither side of the campaign is well funded. Both sides have reported assets of less than $100,000. The price of air time will prohibit pretty much everything but news coverage.
i do agree that if both sides show ads they will only use 'keywords' that somehow appeals to the masses.
niether side is well funded? haha.. sir arent you old enough to know that the reason it is illegal IS because one side has the money to keep it that way??
and that the side who is keeping it illegal has used the simplest of tactics to overwhelm those who are ignorant enough to believe the "hoax" about it? did you know the real term isnt even 'marijuana' ?? its some mexican scare name they used on it. and it worked! money = power
if the pro 19 people are smart they dont need to have fancy commercials and props, because that just plays to our stupidity that we need pictures to understand stuff. what the pro 19s need to do i believe is be straight up with the public. dont play dumb and use certain words. just say why it needs to be legal. dont talk about raising millions for taxes. if you need to get political discuss the job oppurtunity's that could** happen. and with that givce the background information that not everyone will succeed, but with percerviance you have as could of a chance as the next guy. but thats only on the political side....
..if they want to really reach out, talk about how its scientifically proven it cannot kills us. yea it gets us a lil stoned and make things more interesting, but what LEGAL narcotic on the market doesnt do that? EVEN non narcotic consumables affect our judgment one way or another if you really think about it! and the truth is THOSE legal prescription drugs are the ones that slowly kill your liver off. those are the narcotics you hear everyday about famous people and normal people being hooked on pills or being serious alcoholics, or chain smokers. THOSE are the things that should be outlawed. but no our govt has capital ties with big business to allow things that ARE scientifically proved to be addictive and holds a high market value. they dont have the balls to say what pot really is. a plant, it grows naturally like any other vegetable, or herb. the difference is the buds it produces have properties that affect our body systems. in a non lethal way.
if we can all respect the plant and show we as a society can use pot in an everyday manner and still go on with our lives then why not! taxing it? who cares. grow your own. people who grow their own vegetables DONT buy at the grocery store right? maybe they do it as a hobby and saves them a few bucks. maybe theirs wont always be as good as the 'stores' but thats fine. isnt that the difference between having our own and paying for the convenience?
the argument that pot is stronger than it was in the 60's.... no duh dummies. its called advancing technologies. everything we have in general is better than it was back then. (with the exception of toys, some cars, music, and good times) but everything we use in our lives has evolved in some way.
for those who want to say no on 19, give me a break guys. were ALL supposed to be in it for the love of the plant. you guys are changing the agenda by trying to make this a market.... ok ok i understand this is your "lively hood" ok well meet the status quo half way at least. if given the oppurtunity do you guys not know how much the plant would "try" to flourish by everyone growing? why not change and cut those 'street prices' in half and continue to grow your bomb stuff and sell it in the legal market?? if your shits as good as you claim your followings will pay your way anyways, AND you'd still be growing and providing for the love of the plant NOT solely on peoples compassion towards it. it will work because it does very WELL in the brewery and wine industries! the only difference is pot will have a stronger advantage because it doesnt affect your body in the long run like alcohol quantites in large amounts can. and we need to show we can go out and have fun and be responsible with being high and not going behind the wheel if heavily intoxicated. we as a society follow that in general with Rx drugs and alcohol. and for those WHO do get behind the wheel and die well they deserve it. thats darwins at its finest. call me shallow but you know what if you were dumb enough to drive while intoxicated you do not have the right to enjoy life. alcohol over took your sense of judgement and you werent strong enough mentally to respect your body.
for those who get caught in the errors of stupidity, i side with you and agree maximum punishment.
bottom line our laws want us to fall at the shambles of 'pot' they want to know they have that much power over something that can be safely used everyday. the more we argue over why or why it shouldnt be legal, the more, or i should say less work they have to show us. they got us all arguing with each other over the simplicty of the plant all because of money. no matter what new laws get put in they can always get veto'd someway or another. its just MEANT to be like that. so why not all try and vote yes and see what happens?? if it fails then o well haha on us. but at least US as a society all agreed on one thing, WE LOVE OUR POT.
