Properly pollinating a bud?

I have a a Grape buck cherry male and female, I put some pollin on my finger and wiped it on the very tip of the bud cause i really want seeds but i dont want to make to many.It has like 8 little seeds on the very tip of the bud where I touched, the rest of the bud is seedless. My question is how do you effectively pollinate a bud to achieve getting like 3 or 4 seeds? Although I am not complaining it is some really good kill and I am excited about the seeds.

if you only want a few seeds it sounds like you have done it..2 or 4 of those seeds may not form properly so its best to aim at twice the amount you want... I like to pollinate a lower branch or 2,, so I get a decent stash of seeds....

dont you have a fan on your plants????

I keep the male in the sunroom and am careful not to shake it alot
