Pruning and cloning

Here is the question of the night... Would I still have to prune knees up and cut off the oversized water leaves if I'm planning on using this plant mostly for cloning. Someone told me to still go ahead and cut off the big leaves.

On my mom's, I will only take off a bit of the super low leaves ones touching pot or soil. I'll also remove any old dead leaves. I don't really prune my mom's untill I clone them, cloning is the pruning they get. Less work for me.

Well with that plant I would take off the tops down to a lower node and increase your light levels.
Its already stretchy and you don't want lanky stretched clones with hardly any nodes.
Plus it will help bush it out for more potential clone sites.
