You have your opinions, I have mine. DWC done properly increases everything including, oils, resins, trichomes, turpenes, and turpenoids. My outdoor grows were verygood for soil grown cannabis. I dont care what anyone says, soil grown cannabis is not as good nor as potent as DWC. DWC opens a plants full potential, soil does not. One reason is the root system that each method promotes. DWC promotes masses of very fine feeder roots(the best), and soil promotes long thick tap roots with not as many fine feeder roots. Fact.

Again you've done one DWC grow and you don't care what anyone says and you don't want to have an intelligent debate about it ....... I'm done here as it has become quite apparent that you are the same person your complaining about.....gotta love ignore :).

Those things will have buds everywhere if you ever decide to flower them. If they were mine I would thin them out a bit to get more light and air inside the plant. Helps control pest and disease also. That is if your ever going to flower them. If your going to just keep taking clones it doesnt matter. Btw I use the same buckets and pumps.

I can't flower them because the whole bucket is full of roots and they drink 2 gallons a day. The ones I do flower, I only veg for 10 days. I also do ebb and flow and have always gotten explosive fast growth in hydro. My hydro burns clean and is super smooth. I also did no till organic but hydro is a superior way to grow, massive stalks and roots, big trichomes and heavy yields...Plants love hydro.

Thats exactly right, I noticed the differences immediately and the higher faster production of everything. If you wanted to flower those plants eventually you know you can cut off roots as long as you remove the same amount from the top right? Just give it time to recover but I noticed plants recover from stress in about a day or two growing DWC. I'll never grow in soil again. DWC is most definitely superior cultivation.

Yes they do but I would argue they are more potent than any other technique if done properly. And again the highest tested pot was grown organically if I'm not mistaken
 
You know when one looks at ratios, one needs to also understand when one thing goes up, the other goes down. When all things go up altogether you didnt gain nothing but more product of the same ratios. When you trim a bud, thc ratios go up.. i wonder why? Does hydro produce just more oils or more everything? For thc to go up, guess what has to go down? Will a plant in hydro have less leaf to thc ratios then soil?

Honestly I don't think potency has much to do with grow style but have no proof. Perhaps there are studies but I haven't seen any. As for taste and other qualities, I honestly like the taste of hydro over soil but that's me in

How Is Gene Expression Increased or Decreased in Response to Environmental Change?
In prokaryotes, regulatory proteins are often controlled by nutrient availability. This allows organisms such as bacteria to rapidly adjust their transcription patterns in response to environmental conditions. In addition, regulatory sites on prokaryotic DNA are typically located close to transcription promoter sites — and this plays an important part in gene expression.
For an example of how this works, imagine a bacterium with a surplus of amino acids that signal the turning "on" of some genes and the turning "off" of others. In this particular example, cells might want to turn "on" genes for proteins that metabolize amino acids and turn "off" genes for proteins that synthesize amino acids. Some of these amino acids would bind to positive regulatory proteins called activators. Activator proteins bind to regulatory sites on DNA nearby to promoter regions that act as on/off switches. This binding facilitates RNA polymerase activity and transcription of nearby genes. At the same time, however, other amino acids would bind to negative regulatory proteins called repressors, which in turn bind to regulatory sites in the DNA that effectively block RNA polymerase binding.

I have spent years figuring out what triggers what response in these plants, hell I even wrote a book about it 8)
