Pruning in relation to flowering question.

Can you prune, having already started the flowering lighting stage?

Just a thought for the future. My only experience was without pruning. Also, how long after pruning would a plant need to recover before going to 12/12? From what I read, pruning will change the fan leave stalks that are already growing...so should I wait till I see a change in them before going to 12/12?

Where in the hell am I?

You can keep prunin after ya go into flower, but I wouldnt recommend doin it past week 2 or 3 of flower, and even then I would only rec doin it fer max light pen, air flow, or other beneficial reasons

Well, here is my plan...which I don't expect to stick to, but it's my idea so far. I want to make a very tiny plant, since my last one got out of hand. Not that I minded lol, but it got more than I could handle space wise.

So I want to limit myself to this 6" pot that I have. I want to get some sprouts going (which I'm working on now), put them in small cups, grow them until I get one set of fan leaf branches. Prune it then, let it rest however long so the top starts to grow again, then go right into flowering so I can sex them. Once I do, I want to paper clip the female (if I have more than one, well, then I'll have to figure out what to do...). So start to bend that down, prune it once more, then hold it down like a ring around the pot while it flowers. I figure the short veg time can keep it small enough.

Sound okay?
