basicly ive cut most of the new growth thats at bottom, and a few leaves from branches @ bottom, little ones and 1 big that was burned earlier. also took a clone from 1 branch just for lols to try it. Still huge mess in my plant, i over trained her, too wide, too bushy, leaves touching both sides, and its over 55cm width (the dresser)...

No, your fine. You could even take more off without hurting her. They really are resilient plants!

i've read that leaves play huge part in photosynthesis. So i don't get it how this can help the plant. What i do understand is that some energy is wasted on the branches that will never reach top. ill see how shes doing tomorrow. 3rd day of 12/12 already showing mini white pistils. Gave bio bloom few days ago

I didn't say it helps the plant. I think it helps focus more energy on the top canopy, but I'm by no means an expert, I've just read it on these forums several times and it seems to make sense. My current grow is 5 weeks in flower and I pretty much raped them at 2 weeks in. So much that I felt bad afterwards and thought I took too much off and possibly hurt them. they didn't miss a beat however, and the top cola production is the best of any grow yet (been growing this strain for about a year) even though I'm battling root rot to boot. Could also be that I switched nutes from lucas to dyna-grow though, as they have never looked so lush and green before. Anyway, you didn't take enough off to do any real damage, just a little stress on her that she can handle without any issues as she looks healthy.

She's fine...I've trimmed over 100 leaves off this plant...20121125_104123.jpg....i only trim leaves tho...no productive growth is trimmed...leaves only...I have to trim at least once a week....if not she wouldn't have airflow....she's too thick
