when we were running the indica phenotype that we prefer yeilds were typically 3/4 lbs per 600 watt light with 4 per light

Thanks farmer2424 for your comment. I made a complete change to my nutrients I used in the past, thanks to homebrewer. I now reply on Dyna-Gro for all my growing needs. Like most I had some horrible newbie learning experiences, it was not until I switched to Dyna-Gro, did I begin seeing the results I was expecting.
You may be close on your estimates. I snipped a small bud off on of the more matured looking plants. For grins, I threw it on a scale and had a huge grin when it revealed 9 grams, wet. Quick drying it now.

I just put the seed to germinate LSD today. give me some advice. what kind of bulbs I need? what time should I do? vegetation 18 / 6 (what kind of bulb?) and 12/12 flowering (what kind of bulb?). ? can maintain throughout the plant from seed to harvest of 12 / 12 (what kind of bulb?)? what kind of soil? what kind of fan? what kind of reflective foil? my box is small. 65 cm (26inch). I want to keep the plant small, no taller than 50cm (20inch). how to keep it small? lst, topp.scrog? which one? I wish I had an amount of 40-50 grams of buds after harvest. is this possible? is very very very low budget. 
I do not want to invest more in equipment. (air foil Current ground bulbs) I want something cheap.

its possible if you got a 400 watt hps dual spec that you can go 12-12 from seed and get 2 oz dry per plant , i grow nothing but 12-12 from seed at the moment.

It is going to be a challenge to keep this strain under 20 inches tall, in my opinion.

Not if he learns how to LST the plants.
Here are a few pics of a plant grown under LST that harvested 4 oz's per plant.
Total finish heigth was less then 24 inch's from soil to the tops. Flowered in 5 gall pots.

Beautiful plants. I will admit that I have no experience growing under LST, but based upon your photos it is something I will experiment with in the future.

I honestly couldn't believe how easy it really was and is to do.
Every branch grows like a top, which means 8 branchs = 8 tops.
I top my branchs giving me 2 to 1 for bud sites.
So 6 branchs gives me 12 tops per plant.
Here is another round I did with a White Widow big bud cross. Nothing but tops..
This is what my tent usually looks like, a sea of green without the screens, or the sea!
I average 3.5 oz's a plant reguardless of strain.

Nice LSD J2! I'm currently on day 27 and 3 days since I topped using UBTT. I am currently on my third ever grow. I have an LSD and a Nirvana seeds Blue Mystic growing under my LED. Evrything is looking good so far. I am in coco and using canna nutes. I'm about to introduce co2 to my setup just waiting to get my new atmospheric controller hopefully Saturday or Monday at the latest. Probably gonna switch to 12/12 in about a week. I'll be watching the rest of your grow to see how that LSD turns out! Here's a pic of what I got going.

growing LSD right now nice to see how urs is looking.mines about 10 days old so im not this far yet but i hope mine turns out HALF as good as urs!

Here are a few pic's I took of a plant that is taller then most, so it will really show the flexability of the plant.
I took this just a few mins ago as I transplanted her.
Note how I keep the stalk/root base close to the edge of the pot for more room.
I'll take this plant and take it down to half it's heigth without cutting anything off the plant.
Boom there it is, 7 inch from soil to the highest point of the plant.
Here is my LSD going under LST a few evening ago.
I feel different about a few of my strains, like LSD. Mainly since they are from seed and not clones.
I plan on working the hell out of my LSD with a few extra weeks in my veg tent under my double 400's.
Got 4 in all to work with so this should be fun.
