So I'm about a year away from getting my BS in Psychology and I was wondering what the Psychology scene was like out in California. I'm very interested in mental disorders and what marijuana can do to help cure these disorders. I worked at a home for people with mental illnesses ranging from mild to severe MR, dementia, schizophrenia, and Parkinson's. It has always fascinated me how complicated and unknown the human brain still is to modern science. I would pass out enormous amounts of pills to these people, and I would think of how many of these pills could be cut out of their daily lives by consuming marijuana (possibly!). That is what I am really driven to do for the rest of my life is continue to find more cures using the marijuana plant and other natural plants, and I am looking for as much advice as possible about how to achieve my goal, and some inspiration to keep going for my MS and eventually my Ph.D. Are there any other psychology majors or fanatics out there?
