A task force of experts studying how the federal government should legalize recreational pot will make its recommendations Wednesday, but the public will have to wait to find out what’s in the highly-anticipated report.

It will be released publicly “at a later date,” according to a spokeswoman for the task force, which had been asked to report back by the end of November.

The 'experts' needed the extra time to make sure they've sufficiently covered their individual and collectives asses, since they're about to show the world theirs.

Fucking water kills more people every year than pot, and they needed a task force?

How about getting a life?!

Ah so they are doing the TPP treaty method. Public will only know when its ready to sign but corporations will know before hand and have their say in it.

I think we need a petition/protest to force the gov to forbid LP's from using their current companies to sell in the rec market and force them to set up new companies and start from scratch if they want to do rec.

Agreed. Unfortunately, we know that isnt the case and they will get to do both med and rec without re applying.

And those of us who use the plant as a lens through which to view the world are getting an eyeful of just how corrupt our governments have become.
I have been telling my partner this for years, I have been telling her that Cannabis is a big deal not just because I love it, but because it exposes almost everything that is wrong with our modern world, the lies, the corruption, the greed, the hate, the racism. The only reason Cannabis was made illegal was because minority's used it, now that non minority's use it, it is ok?

Oh big Pharmacy and big Tobacco lobbying against it? the oil and energy sector hate it because it offers a easy renewable resource. The list goes on and on, police forces like to bust people for money and moral. ALL LIES. I am really pissed they are not going to make the recommendations public today WTF is "At some later date" even mean? if you can tell me in a month from now, then why not now???
Get you're ACMPR grow permits everyone, even if you can not grow, get it, so that we can send a clear message that we are hear to stay.

Mark my words, an attempt to be rid of GPD all together and move to plant count when Rec occurs is definitely a consideration of theirs.

If they can get Doctors to keep scripts small currently, this becomes easier as they can simply "lump" everyone under a 6 plant limit for example. If the majority of patients are only granted small scripts under the ACMPR, then their logic will dictate that the higher scripts are in the minority. And the majority rules more often than not

This is also why they were explicitly clear the current system is temporary, making it easier to take away all together

Guaranteed.
Once it is removed from the cdsa it becomes a natural health product, eliminating the involvement of HC and doctors. I hope my mmar pinks are grandfathered.
Only the collusion necessary between HC, Dr. colleges, LP's and direct interference in dr.-patient matters needed to pull this off is criminal. The clinics extorting money are criminal.

And they will continue to be that way as long as people turn a blind eye to things like #PizzaGate.
