I use 24 volt transformer pump and 12 volt cycle timer with 12 volt solenoids, we have power outages from time to time and with 12 volt I can still cycle my misting for a few hours with the accumulator tank at 100 psi. I also like 12 volt for the wiring aspect. BUT I can't get away from 120 vac completely YET!
I`ve had the option of charging my 100L accumulators to 145psi without any electrical power whatsoever for years . Timer and solenoids will happily run off grid with a 7ah SLA battery and 20w solar charger.

That is very interesting.
I am not that good with electricity and numbers.
But do you think it would be possible to run a 24 volt/15 Watt pump for about 5 minutes per hour with your set up (7ah SLA battery and 20w solar charger) ?
