Purchased a bong... Err?

I've never smoked out of anything except home-made shit, been too cheap to cough up the money until now. Is it just me, or does the hole in the bowl look WAY too big? I know for a fact that in the amounts that I smoke (I usually just get buzzed, and I only smoke the best of the best, blueberry, sour-d, etc) it'll fall right through.



Suggestions?

Cut a section out of an old window screen. Or go buy a pack of screens. Maybe that would be your best idea.

If you want, I can try to send you some e-screens.

I dunno how much good this will do.

PS: That picture of your hand is gigantic! I think I can see individual skin cells! I'm fascinated!

Just cut a piece of your window screen out and use pliers to hold it and burn it with a lighter till most of the coating is off. then cut it down with a razor blade to fit in the bottom snuggly. Make sure its the metal screen not the plastic ones. Or just take the one out of a faucet like Son said. Make sure to hold it with pliers and burn some of the coating off.

i would use a normal screen, ive only had bad experiences with glass ones,they have these glass cones that you can pack and then place within your peice...there pretty nice but $$$

That picture is very big, I'm sure its fine with a nice bud.

Just bought a glass screen, I look really young and lost my license a few weeks ago (not legally, but I mean just misplaced it), so I ended up going to 4 different smoke shops before they'd sell to me, LOL. Anyway, I bought a glass screen for a buck and it looks like it'll do the trick, I also ended up buying a nice little glass pipe (big spender this week) for $20 that's made right in their shop, pretty cool gig.

OH MY GOD! I just went to try it out and it took me 5 minutes to get the screen positioned, if it wasn't in there just right it would drop right through. I may have to just get a new bowl, my god, LOL.

go to a local smoke shop and ask if they have pipe/bowl screens.

edit: you could get a metal screen, or ask if they have a screen jar (most places do, it's just got like 1-500 of the little buggers) and pick out a few that look big enough.

Hey, they did have a lot of screens. Also, the screens are "water bong screens", which is of course what I'm looking for. New bowls were like $12, I may just go for that...

I'll probably get a new bowl, seems to make the most sense. The hole is just *too* big, LMAO. My little spoon pipe is working well though :eyesmoke:

I know there's some way to heat glass up enough to mold it.
I want to make a pipe out of a glass coke bottle.
