Hello i'm new to the Aerogarden growing scene and just had a quick question about which AG i should purchase...price isn't really a factor I just want the one that will help my batch grow the best.

also minus the aerogarden how money should be spent on the rest of the equipment? another 100 or 200 dollars??

thx in advance

Well your obviously going to wanna go with the AeroGarden SpaceSaver 6 Elite just because it has the most room and can be raised higher, I think it might provide a little more light than the other AeroGardens as well. I have seen some grow journals done with the AeroGarden Elite and I must say it does a fantastic job in veg and as far as money needed for other equipment you will probably need 200-300 for nutrient and tools such as a ph meter. ($85.00 digital ph meter) I hope this information is helpful. Happy Growing !

for 2-3hundred you could get alot better results with a DIY Bubble bucket, and a 250w mh/hps system.

BM512 If you are going to buy an AG, go directly to their site and you can get what they call their "Deal of the Day." Sometimes the 6 or 7 is on for only$79 and shipping and handling are free. Otherwise try Amazon, sometimes they are cheaper there, but I've never seen one for less than $79.
I have 2 of the 7's. Check out their new product "seed starter" It's great and i isn't only water so you won't have as much of a problem with the plants going into shock when transplanting. butterflymary

:weed:I have two Aerogardens. The 7 pod Pro 100 and recently I got a Spacesaver 6 for $50 on the Aero Outlet site.

I currently have a couple of G-13 freebies I got through Attitude. They are growing very fast and I'm waiting to find out what sex they are.

I use additional CFL side lighting, an external air pump and an airstone, along with Fox Farms Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. I use pH down and up to control the pH levels and an expensive pH meter for under $30.00 here:

I've grown mainly feminized dwarfs in the Pro 100 with good results.

It works for me. I just want to grow my own with a very limited amount of space.

Good Luck!!

I own four aerogardens but just grow tomatoes and peppers with them. All of mine are ag6 elite plus models. they are based off of the air pump design, but they need an extra pump to really get the water moving. Definitely get some side lighting with the best cfls you can get.

Growing veggies Gives me an excuse to have all the growing supplies on hand. I have a ph meter, a tds/ec meter and ph up and down. I use general hydroponics flora series, they are a good flowering nutrient. a 16 oz starter kit lasts quite a while in aerogardens. My last kit lasted two years without losing results.

I use park seed bio dome 60 replacement plugs, some use rapid rooters, which are also good. Just recycle every basket you come across. Then you have everything you need to plant your own seeds.

I'm a newbie MJ grower but your welcome to check out my Hell box 2010... why hell? cause its 93 freaking degrees in there. Check my sig for details.
