pH is meaningless at low ppm. Don't measure it.

With zero buffering capacity, pH will swing wildly just from absorbing CO2 from the air. Once you add buffering capacity (nutrients), a pH measurement will be meaningful.

I've had no problems with my pure water club 75gpd portable unit other than needing new filters after lots of use.

Yeah I added 1/4 nutrients to a gallon and the ph went down to the 5 region . I can run with low ppm now b cus of my very sensitive. Ecsd but will I have problems later with different strain

yeah i just added nutes at1/4 tsp a gallon and ph was at the 5 region now the ppms are low 100-150 now its okay now becus i have a very sensitive easy coast sour d but once i get a diffrent strain and want higher feeding is there going to be a problem with ph staying up
