Purifying kief from grinder

Hey everybody, Ive just bought myself an half Oz of great quality homegrown pineapple express and noticed a healthy amount of kief in my grinder and was wondering if after the bud is all smoked, could I put this kief in a jar with some ice water then shake it up as a way of purifying it in order to make better hash?

Any help or opinions appreciated, stay blazed people!

no...water will just make it wet...
but you could run it with some iso and then strain it...that would make it hash, but really I just sprinkle the kief back in bowls on the vape, or I sprinkle it on top of bowls to smoke, or I put it in joints with weed...

Thanks for the quick reply missnu. I thought that trichomes were water insoluble though? This idea only came to mind after looking up how to make water and ice hash and i thought it would apply to kief from a grinder too?
Thats what I usually do with it aswell but I really wanted to have a go at making some really good hash haha

I thought the kief from grinder already is pure hash. Isnt it th same as hand rubbed hash

I think it has more plant matter/ not "hash-quality" material. I've tried purifying my kief with Iso, you lose a lot of product. I just keep it as is and sprinkle it on top

Just smoke as is. You will lose atleast 55% if not more if hit with iso..

Kief is pressed and processed and then it is hash. If not pressed then it is done using one of the other many methods of making hash. Using a solvent like alcohol or butane makes it hash oil.

I love rolling my own hash with my fingers.

yeah i normally just keep my kief as kief. i sometimes put my grinder through iso when it gets dirty and that gives me some good iso hash. and a nice clean grinder

If you have resin you can get from your pipe press the grinder dust into it to form a piece of hash.

That ^^^ is an insult to the trichomes and I would never recommend that to anyone who wanted to taste great cannabis. Disgusting.That is NOT hash. It is destroying the goodness of trichomes with filthy tar and other carcinogens.

MAYBE if you do it with Hash Errl and not resin... jesus resin taste like shit. That is a very desperate move to even smoke it. hahahahah

Actually I cook the resins from my bunk to make binder. I can't think of any other way a greengo could get binder except from his pipe.

you mix your kief with your pipes resin? that doesnt sound to good.

Eventually someone will figure how to make good Paki hash. It seems to be a lost art. You need a resin binder to make real pressed hash. Something I haven't seen in years unless I make it.

Another thing I found works great...you know how when you finish trimming and harvesting a plant your scissors and fingers are all sticky...? Well I rub all of that stuff off my fingers, and then off my scissors, then I roll it around in the kief in my grinder bottom thing...it also works great to clean the screen and the little edges of the grinder...the kief wants to stick to the finger hash more than it wants to sit in the grinder, so as long as you keep pressing you will keep picking up kief...and as you work it more with your fingers and it gets hot it will all just sort of melt together...or I will take a little hash make a tiny snake with it, then roll that in the kief til it looks like a yellow powder stick then I stick that in the middle of a joint, or just in the vape...and it is awesome...
and I think finger hash is my favorite...I need to start wearing latex gloves and just rubbing the shit out of a few plants just to see how much I can get to stick to the glove then pop it in the freezer, and see if I can peel off a hand shaped fruit roll up of finger hash...

yeah...I really really love finger hash..but you get so little from normal plant touching...I just wonder how much I could get if i really got in there...? I just love the way finger hash tastes...it is the weed amplified...beautiful...
