Purple #1 / Durban Poison

Just a quick hello and thx for all the knowlegdge from all u guys , ive learnt a lot off you...

Myself, ive got 5 plants on the grow atm , closet grow. 4 purple #one . and 1 durban poison...

I got the plants when they were 3 weeks old and they were the most stretched i have ever seen any plants, it was around 12inch and had less that 3 nodes lol.

since then i have sorted them the best i can , i opted for LST method to get some growth sproutin ariound the bottom. as for now the tops look fine . All together they have been veging for 7 weeks, but because of unhappy childhood they are no where near the size they should be at this age .

I have also placed a thread on another part of the forum ... sick plants i think there are pics on there if u fancy a nosey .

Nice to c some1 besides myself if growing purple#1 and I also went with the LST method witch is I think the best for this strain. I'm n the first weeks of flowering and I have 2 growing now and 1 has 8 heads and the other 1 has 13. With it being a sativa dominent strain it works great two keep the plant at a medium height.

Took 5 clones off each and hope 2 keep it in my garden till I can cross breed it with 1 of my G13 males.

yo mate , been lookin for sum1 else with purples, this is only my 2nd grow and when i got the plants they wer stretched , thats why i went with LST.
<<< purple stem... is that somethink youve knoticewd on yours , as this is my first purple strain , im not sure if it genetics or just the strain turning it purple , or some kind of defiency.

Naw mine doesn't have a purple stem. It may b do 2 the lack of light is the reason your plant streched so much cuz mine has a very tight nodes. I'm useing a 400 watt MH for vegg and that keeps the plant from streching. The person u got it from must have had it under a very week light.

Wat size light r u useing?

he sed he had it under 600 hps but i doubt it , he musta had it like 13foot away from the tips then lol

mines 250watt , gna stick them in flower nxt week, since ive gotthem all they have done is bushed out , i didnt want any more height lol

in the right conditions it can grow great anywhere

Yeah that would b hard 2 beleive with that much stretch.
