Now would be great in an uncomplicated world. I will give it a go around Aug 25. As I said in an earlier post ,I can extend flowering time into October with a bit of construction on my part.... talking this thru has helped develop a bit of a plan. Thanks all.

They'll be flowering by the middle of Aug at the latest or at least that's when my outdoor ones would finally start budding here.

So they can start to flower with less than 12 hrs of dark?

We still have 14+ hours of sunlight around mid-Aug and mine will start to flower by then. After two months of 20 hour light it must seem like fall to them. It's dawn at 5 am now and still light enough to read a newspaper outside at 11:30 pm this far north.

A mature plant will start flowering under 14 hours light and if they do it would be nice to keep them at that for the first 6 weeks or so as they'll bud up bigger with more light. I'm flowering under 13 hours light now and will add another half hour any day.

I am a bit surprised at how much there is to bring these plants thru to harvest. That’s what this first grow is all about....a good schooling.

I've only read everything I could get my hands on about pot since the mid 70s so may have missed a few things but still learning myself every day.

I did grow out a Purple Kush a few grows back but didn't like it. Just a squat little bush but it might just have been because it was a stubby little cutting when I got it from a buddy. I have one now quite like it called an Ayahuasca Purple. Also from a cutting from the same buddy. Budding up nicely tho and have 2 rooted cuttings from it. Have a Hindu kush and Dutch kush going as well as an AK47 with 4 hi-CBD girls and 4 of a cross of Island Sweet Skunk and DJ Short's Blueberry. 12 plants and 6 strains all under 1000W Hortilux on a light rail.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.
