Purple on new growth, outdoors.. Solutions?

Hey everyone. I'm getting dark purple color on new growth.. Not on the leaves, on the pistils where the top of a bud starts. It's outdoors. In veg stage. It's not cold. It's not on every shoot. It's not the strain. Wtf is this stuff? We got a ton of rain this year, not a lot of sun. Then it got dry and got alot of sun.. Help me. What can I do to get rid of this?

need pic... sure its not the strain? purple in new growth usually means phosphorus... but i dont know about just the pistils...?

No it's definitely not the strain. Have same strains in different areas and they don't have any. I've gotten this before. It doesn't totally kill the buds but they turn out like crap.. I will post a picture as soon as I get one. Thanks

if you have pistils/buds, then it's not vegging, it's flowering

no it's in veg. Sorry I didn't mean the pistils. I just meant like the new growth that come out in the middle of a shoot. Sorry I don't know the terms. Lol.

The root that feeds that section of the plant (if it is one branch) has hit a High K substance in the soil = high K situation
If it's the whole plant,,,,same thing in a broader sense!

Its dark purple/black, and its happening to mine too....pretty sure its some type of mold....I just cut all of the affected tops off...we still have 2-3 weeks before flowering so it'll have plenty of recovery time....BTW I topped one and left one with the affected tops just to see which produces more!!!
