Purple Reefer

The sweet purple I found took little longer to get clones rooted for me.I usually have rooted clones in 3-5 days but the sweet took 10-14 days to get fully rooted. I then put my 2 inch rockwool clones into 4x4 rockwool cubes and vegged about 10 days which might have been little long for hydro as the plants got a bout a foot taller then I wanted.In soil I vegged for 3 weeks and the plants stopped final height in flower at 3 feet in the hydro they ended up about 4 feet..The only difference I saw in the buds was the soil gave that deep purple color and the smell was alittle more perfumy.The hydro grew much faster and the yield was about 8 times more per plant and the plants had more sugar then the soil plants which I usually find with hydro grows.Im not a fan of soil growing. i did it when I first started and just did another for old times sake but probably wont do one for another decade again lol..The smeel on the sweet purple will be a nice change for you as its different then anything i ever smelled its weird let me know how youd descrip it when you flower..The high is nice and a heady high as with most sativas but very good.I got lucky and of the 3 seeds I sprouted 2 were female and I had a male but I killed it when I should have gotten pollen as I want to cross the sweet purple with dj shorts BB and get sweet Blurple..The pheno I got was the better of the 2 and has the strawberry taste when smoked

Have you had any problems with Brad at hemp depot ? I was on reefermans site where they were tearing him apart for being a jerk.

I am going to e-mail him some questions. I'll give him a chance.

Is Querkle good for crossing ? How about cuttings ? Is she cutting friendly ?

A little update.

I e-mailed Brad at Hemp depot about 1/2 hour ago and I just recieved my reponse.

Maybe some sour grapes over at Reefermans.

Im sending Brad an order for the Querkle. Cant wait.

Alrighty I was given some clones that were supposedly Urkle or Grand Daddy Purple but I'm not sure what the hell it is but it smells like candy throws out more crystals than the SR71 Purple Kush which I have as well and in my micro setup in yields more than the PK too so I was thinking it's GDP but my friend's growing out some Querkle right now and I have the mystery purps next to them and he says it looks like Querkle but shorter... Now I think it's bud structure is different than all the purples mentioned and it's not Mendo Purps cuz my buddy has that too and it finishes in 7 weeks and is purple all over now my mystery purps I have only taken to 9 weeks but it looks like it's a 10week strain which makes me think it is Urkle but the buds look like the newer Big Bud to me so please Subcool or somebody give me some help here cuz I'm in love with this strain! The shit is super stoney at 7 weeks with clear heads and no amber!! and knocks me on my ass at 8 weeks and today I'm bringin down the 9 week lady so I'll have a report on that in 2 weeks or so... anyway heres the pics... The first pic is the SR71 PK in week 6 and the rest are my mystery purple in weeks 7-8





















I'll upload some harvest pics later cuz the one I'm bringing down has more purple to it the calyx's are a vibrant violet

I would love to be able to tell things from just looking at pics but I can't. It deff looks nice for sure but without smelling touching growing its really hard to make calls ya dig?

I will say it looks to be carring some sativa traits based on the way the leafs look.
Also looks like an influx of resin from a sat as well.

Hey sub, kind of a random question here, but i guess its a result of following this purple thread and wanting to get some querkle. Basically i emailed hemp depot asking if i could buy the seeds in person considering i live really close and would rather not go through mail, and ive gotten no reply, so im guessing that its is kind of heat, maybe he thinks im some kind of law enforcement dude tryin to bust him or something heh. Seems like you'd have a better idea than i so any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks bro, I can tell you it smells like candy and not bud thats for sure and I have Querkle in my cab now too and they look very similar and the smell thats coming off of it is close just my fan leaves don't turn purple like my PK or the Urkle you have but I know this is going to be in my breeding projects thats for sure.. Happy Growing

We do not set the retail prices the seed distributors do.
The seeds at auction are cheaper because we do set the prices

Hey Subcool thought you should know that Blue Sky has been selling Querkle clones but I don't think they fully tested out the mothers cuz my buddy got 30 of them and about half of them were the Space Queen dominant ones and they were hermies!! He was saying that they looked odd from the first 2 weeks of flower and sure as hell as the weeks went on they didn't turn purple and grew nuts! Which had my bubddy not liking your gear when it wasn't your fault... I just think if clubs are going to sell your gear they should make sure it's what it should be... I luckily got 2 of the good cuts and making a mom for sure after reveg cuz the smell is amazing!!! Do you have a recommended starting height for SOG to grow into a single spike with no pruning??

People do what they do we really dont have control. If you want tested and true TGA gear start from seed!
I like to see a plant well established and rooted fully thats why Z is so nice as she stays very short even after budding and you can veg her to a nice 18" stick.

subcool, I am must admit those ara amazing picture, they almost look more like flowers than bud. I have always wanted to grow some good purple stuff, wonderin how it compares to the regualr green?

Hey Subcool I gotta say that Querkle is the most beautiful strain I have had the pleasure of trimming... I found a fan leaf on one of the plants that had a bud growing in the middle of it! have you seen this in any of your strains before?? Check out these pics!
