I think a certain level of independent research should be done before posting a question, even if it is in the noob section. Most people here would benefit more if they read a couple grow bibles on their own. I also have purple stems and now fan leaves, I looked up the problem and found many, many different websites explaining these issues.

Like I said it just clutters up the forums, pushes better more helpful information lower down the list.

Anybody who bitches about ANY questions asked on riu about growing is a fucking shit starter who doesn't belong on this website... This place is made to ask q.. If u really want to help.. Post those links u have or give the correct info u have.. And dont bitch about coming in the newbie section and seeing newbie questions... That is nothing but trolling.. Are u the riu mayor.. No.. Piss off and leave the ppl alone.. I still to this day ask my qs here first then do research... I like to talk to ppl one on one.. Some people.. Like myself.. Learn better that way.. And sometimes u may even know the correct answer but u want reassuring... So if seeing qs like this bothers u.. 1. Stay outa the newbie section 2. Skip over them 3. Stay the fuck off a website dedicated to helping ppl grow cannabis... You make ppl not want to ask qs when u do that shit.. And thats horrible... So just quit
 
And i would guess its a phos def.. Coming from lower leaves first like u said... U also said they were red correct... I cant see any pics atm so... Red is also from this sometimes... It could be coldness.. But i doubt that.. Or they would all most likely do it together... Another thing.. U did mention u took them out and washed the roots... U very well could of shocked them.. Which will also cause red/purpleish stems... Genetics can do this too.. i doubt that is it ..also mag def and ph.. Ph is usually the number one cause... So its hard to tell.. If i can load them later i might get a better idea...i see u got a ph meter.. Awesome.. So make sure ur ph is correct.. Then we can eliminate that.. I would put some of w.e syn nute u use to help w shock... I would try using some fresh aloe mixed in a foilar feed to help them a lil.. Prob wont do much in that soil... I would add a small amount of phos and some straight mag in a small amount if this keeps up.. Do the phos first.. Id say that is what it is..kinda a guess from what all has been done that could cause it... This is another reason it is great to baby ur plants.. Write down when u feed and water... What growth looks like.. Keep a journal.. Its actually fun af.. And u can go back and see what u did to correct a certain prob u may encounter later... Keep it up buddy.. Youre gonna become an awesome grower pullin dank on the reg if u keep at it
