purple stems

I saw this thread in some dude's sig and I'm wondering... was I supposed to learn something from this?

It's a cold temperature problem. Check the temp when your lights have been off for a little while.
The lowest it should ever go is 65F or you will have problems of the evil purple stems and lack of growth and possible death of the plant.
