purple strains for novice?

the querkle is a nice smoke but he odds of finding a purple pheno with purple buds may be hard with one pack. to me there are two types of purple strains: strains who leaves turn purple and strains who buds turn purple. querkle has purple buds but you gotta find the pheno. She is a slow vegger also, but smoke and taste is great.

One strain that i would suggest is sannies killing fields. This is definitely a strain for the novice because you can put it into flowering with little veg time (meaning that you dont have to spend time to care for her much in veg, where many problems occur) plus you are guaranteed to find a purple pheno in a 10 pack. Hell there are at least 3 phenos. pink, dark purple, light purple, and a green pheno. good yields, kick ass smoke, and taste and smells like berries/grapes/lemons. You cant go wrong with that.

DPD is another purple strain worth looking at
Black rose is another.

If you have access to clone urkle is definitely worth a look.
hey bro thanks for those info...i would say that the querkle has 2 distinctive pheno...1 is shorter and tends to get more purple hues, and the taller one has less purple hues that will show on the later part of the grow. but both have purple buds may not be all purple but if you try cracking the buds up ud see purple hues in it. id like the querkle since it has 2 main phenos, imo a more stable breed that does not have so much phenos.

killing fields has a purple pheno that shows up in ~70% of the feminized (less frequent from reg).

ive seen this pheno a couple of times. she is decent, but her smell is great. i have a pheno like this but has the frost of the jack used. i also see a pink pheno that had more of a haze type bud. i didnt know querkle had 2 main phenos. i was told by someone the most of the phenos, just the leaves turn purple. great info tho. thanks. i would love to try that deep purple.

yeah i can understand you wanting more of a stabilized plant with as less phenos as possible. i do also, i always look for uniformity and the smaller amount of pheno. actually killing fields is the first strain that i dont mind having such a variety of phenos because every pheno i ever got, although it was a wide variety of them was killer.

it's an F2, so yeah, still a few phenos. We have a pink going right now as well, and another in veg that has different leaf structure than the other two, who knows how it'll turn out.

The deep purple that those pics are from does smell incredibly good. It started out with a deep sandalwood smell, then around week 2 started to morph into an incredible spice, then at week 3 it developed a heavenly sweet undertone. There's not a lick of green on it, and in areas the purple is so deep it's almost black :) Incredibly frosty too for having a month left.

:joint: how about jackberry... these are at week 3 ish.

got the purple & green phenos... all fast flowering, fast vegging, and easy to maintain.

smell & taste delicious. i took a few tasters last night & all i can say (where many cant because they've never grown his stuff) is that people who talk shit about sannies gear are clueless.

too, i can't imagine the jackberry at 5 to 20% amber.

i ran these moms out the veg cabinet ...i still got 3 fabulous moms... and 75 cuts waiting for the ebb tables.

& no doubt killing fields is da bomb.
