Purple Urkle

Never grown PU but the smoke is great. I've smoked several of the purple strains recently, including The Purps, Purple Urkle, and Grape Ape. Honestly, the best out of those was Grape Ape. Fruity smelling, great tasting, long trippy high. Just my 2 cents.

Ive seen this clone and almost picked it up...

SHOLUD I pick up a clone or two of the Querkle??
two, one for me and one for you, I'd love to grow that one and every thing else TGA makes.
"tastes better than her mom", it's a no brainer.

I smoked an urkle strain a few years back. Was bomb as fuck. Prolly on of the better weeds I've smoked. I liked it allot.

P. Urkle from harborside in the Bay area a few years back was bomb indeed, but ours yielded less than impressively. The purple AK from the same place tasted similar but yielded better than the P.U. or the purple kush. But the p. kush had the best colors and flavor, IMO.
If you're doing for head smoke then grab the urkle, but if you want for dubious reasons (profit) then I'd go with blue dream.

There is so much BD going on out there that unless you are doing the street thang I wouldn't even think about doing it. I know someone who was getting 3lbs a WEEK of BD in his rotation and he was struggling to find places to take it. Bomb ass shit this dude was a top shelf grower but when he switched to only 2 trays of his unique strain and 6 trays of BD his life went from ballin to fallin.

I don't doubt it. I was more or less being sarcastic with the BD suggestion. There are, like you said, so many people doing BD that are on point there is little room for a novice/small scale. I think the same can also be said about any purple strain or OG cross. You can't throw a rock out west without hitting someone who is growing an OG, cookie, GPD, P.kusk/urkle/diesel cross. Cheers.

I run PU a couple times a year, and she never disappoints me. I like to run her in the winter. She really turns a nice shade of purple then.
Any telltale signs for identifying the real PU? I've got a girl that is a medium size to shorter bush, node spacing on the shorter side, leaves somewhat thin, lots of blades, she seems lighter green in veg than other plants. Early in flower, she gets reeaaally grapey, with a hint of menthol or terpinolene, then when temps get cold, the flowers turn purple (but the leaves don't get purple until way later), and she gets some dank, skunky notes....does this sound right?
