7 weeks from seed? I do not know what the issue is, but what I do know is you have 2 week old plant there from the looks. If regular photos and you vegged for lets say 6 weeks, they would be multiple feet high with the proper care. Dude no offense, and I suck at growing too, i am no way an expert and make mistakes all over the place, but start again toss those. You are wasting time and energy with those.

I know they are stunted, the first 6 weeks were rough temps couldn't get below 90 degrees, then the led I had at the time was way to powerful which slowed things. But the past couple weeks they have been chugging along so I dknt wanna toss um.

Grow it out than brother. It’s good learning experience. I suck too, so don’t worry, I am the overwatering king.

LoL so the purple spots are from over watering? I mean the soil seemed pretty dang dry went I gave um some. Plus I've noticed these smart pots dry out way quicker. And its suppose to be harder to over water which is why I got them?

Small plants in newly potted larger pots need less water to start, as they fill their "new shoes" they will increase their need for water, until then more water, less often. In 2 gallon pots pick them up, 2 gallons of dry soil isn't very heavy, if it feels about as heavy as a milk jug it has plenty of moisture retained to be fine

My experience with the smart pots, I assure you they can be overwatered lol. That’s all I use is smart pots and I over water all the time still. But that’s my fault completely.

What is your ×plain filtered water? Reverse osmosis? Also how much wattage of t5s are you using at what distance? Could just be something as simple as a shitty plant, i always grow several plants at the same time, even if you only need one, then you can pick the best ones to flower.

Filtered from my fridge through the GE filter, then left to sit out to cool with ph lvls at 6.8

My total wattage on the T5s are 216, it was about an inch away when I saw them I moved them to 2 and a half inchs.
the seeds were bought in a dispensary.

I personally would not put them 2” away. Every plant is diff, some can take more some can’t. I have seen cfl’s 2” away never seen a t5 setup 2” away. 8-10” sure. I have heard and read of people growing that close, never seen it person. I have friends with hydro farm t5 lights growing them at 8” 450watts. For seedlings they start at 16-18”. They seem to do just fine. But to each their own.

I'm hoping it's just a little leaf burn from the lights, I'll maybe pull them back to 4 or 5 inchs and wait it out and pray for the best. I want to veg another 2 weeks before flip.

Thank you all for you help!

I doubt it is the light being too close. I have my t8s 2-4"s away on new seedlings and have even had leaves that close for a short time on a 600w hps, mind you those are mature plants and thats in a properly controlled environment. It could be the soil you are growing in is too hot for young plants, along with the nutrients you are using, along with temps in the 90s. What are your lights off temps? What does the 2nd plant look like? Got more seeds? I would just pop all the rest of em, at around 5 weeks you should have a small bush ready to flower and damn near showing sex. I start my seedlings in plain promix, or plain peat moss with nothing added, and no need for any nutrients for about 3 weeks, there is enough in plain peatmoss to feed them during those early stages. I also dont start fucking with them, topping, lst, removing any leaves until they are mature and show sex.

The first two pics are one plant the rest are of the other.
The plants are like 6/7 weeks old from seed so not sure if it's considered young.
Thought my soil didnt have added nutes added and been using half the rec dose on the terra vega.
Off light temp is about 78f.
Ya I wish I I ok ull but can only pop 2 now. Plus I care about them. I wanna see them get better. So gunna do my best to heal um.

78 at lights off is too hot, you need to get your temp down in the low 70s, but this is not your only problem. Soil already has what plants need to grow, you dont see anyone going around in the forest watering plants with "nutrients", yet the forest grows just fine on its own. Cannabis really doesnt need any added nutrients until you get to flowering stage or you have a long veg, 2+ months, not talking about hydro. Your plants are young because they are stunted and have not matured.

Question: Did you up-pot or start from seed in a 2gal Smartpot? I've had good luck starting seeds in solo cups>~half-to-1gal> 7gal SP, drilling holes in any plastic pots used to help allow oxygen diffusion into the roots... Also, i've had luck starting seeds with 2 or 4 2ft t5's, at about 7-10 inches from tops (being gentle with new seedlings and then adding light after ~1week)
