i just picked up a 1000watt sun sytem 2 hps with air cooled reflector for 400 bucks yesterday spur of the moment

my homie calls and is like hey im goin to the grow shop wanna tag along and i was like sure and just decided to grab it i still gotta get a fan though

I just upgraded to a 600 future-brite electronic ballast :hump:and it is kick ass. Almost no heat and i swear is is as bright or brighter than my buddys 1000 hps coil

nice, i am in dire need of an air cooled reflector. my setup was $350 for a switchable 1000watt but the reflector is a "bat wing". my next big purchase will be an air cooled reflector no doubt :mrgreen::blsmoke::blsmoke:
 
well done medical use! that plant looks FIRE! i love hps. i love opening the crack of my area and being blinded lol. i love air cooled reflectors too. i have 2 ultra cool xl reflectors with 6 inch flanges and they stay ice cold. i can touch the glass under the bulb and hold my hand there. its amazing.
 
What the hell do you all do for security!??! Forget about the smell problems and heat probems and whatnot, what about the general curiosty of your freinds/family with your house?? Don't they know where all the rooms are and wouldn't it be suspicius if you started something like this.....i mean c'mon, it really can't be that easy. Im also sure that some of you have a few people that know which is understandable but i wouldn'yt be able to deal with the stress lol.....seriously, how do you sleep at night with 40 plants in your house at all times?? It would eat at me all the time if i wasn't the only 1 who knew.......i jus think doing something like this, nobody can be trusted......people slip up their words and try to let other in on whats goin on by making them swear not to say anything.....i mean we've all done it lol Only way i could see me doing something like this would be in a hidden/underground room......a part of the world that was mine, and mine alone........i know, wicked long but i just smoked a FAT bowl and rambled for a while......sry im done

i got mine at all seasons in nashville they apparently have good prices on lights i couldnt believe how cheap that rig was

i thought i would be spending like close to a dollar a watt but i was way wrong :hump:
