Hi I have a 5 gallon bucket system that I would like to use.
I have one question though. The system only has one entry for plants in the middle. Is it okay if i put say two or three tall clones in the same spot?
I know this place that has long tall clones so I was thinking just Jam a couple in there and put them to flower as soon as they're in.
Would this work??

they compete for light just like outside, the problem is when one is smaller . if it was a great one you might just give it its own bucket. if one gets mites or pests they all will.

I thought it was more of the root systems get to tangled and fight down below...idk if fighting for light would do anything all 8 of my plants constantly fight each other for light technically speaking

You will not gain anything from two versus one. When two plants compete for space one will always grow better than the other and generally you will loose yield overall because of cramped quarters. One sq/ft. of space will only produce X amount, crowding this area is not advised. Tend to one plant, give it all your attention and you will be better off. Don't kill it with kindness though. JAS

you could put two in that if you wanted i guess and bend them outward away from the pot
to give them as much room as possible
when they grow they will shade each other which is not good
you have plenty of root space with hydro thats not the problem
you will not get much of an advantage growing more plants, you maybe able to
get things a bit quicker with two plants rather than one, but any more and they will just get in each others way
if you have two plants of two different types it could work out an ok idea aslong as you control the space well
remove the weak branches from both plants as they grow only keep the healthy branches that receive full light

peace
