Yea, I would use frozen bottles. When the ice melts, it will alter your ppm. Unless you are just flushing anyway....

Ya bottles work good. Keeps the ice from watering down your nutrient levels. Any size bottle works (filled 3/4 for expansion) so use what fits best for your situation.

I don't have to add an ice bottle very often. When I do, I find a small bottle during the last 3-4 hrs of lights on will bring my nutrient temps down to ideal condition.

Everybody who says plain ice chunks will lower nute levels wtf kinda tiny rez are you guys running ?

Before i went geothermal to cool my rez's i would dump a whole party store bag of ice in my 55 gallon rez & it would only lower the ppm the smallest amount, like 5-10 ppm !

Do you have to add water daily to top off the rez ? If so use ice instead of water & you killed 2 birds with one stone.

If you can afford it get a rez chiller & it will pay for itself the 1st harvest, having a steady rez temp below 60 degrees for the entire grow pays off fast.

My Rez is 55 gallons too. So Ill look into the rez cooler Never heard of it before. For all I know the cooler water makes the buds purple. Is that all it does??

You could run a separate recirc line just for the three res. Then another recirc line from one res to the buckets. Else it really won't work without a lot of thought.
