Quantity vs Space aviable

Greetings.

I am considering a 1st grow.
This would be in a spare closet . In this space I could construct a separation between grow/flower space and clone/veg space.
The idea being a perpetual supply.

Total space dimensions to work with are 8'Hx4'Wx2'D.
The grow/flower space will be 5'Hx4'Wx2'D. The clone/veg space will be 2'Hx4'Wx2'D.

I'm thinking a DWC setup w/CFL for this batch. An upgrade to MH and HPS could be implemented later, for subsequent crops,
however due to lack of funds CFL will have to suffice for the time being.:-(

White Widow seeds are being considered, although no seeds have been ordered.

My question is "how would the grow/flower space be best laid out for max quantity?"

As a first time adventure I have no idea how much space these plants may take up at maturity.
10 gal containers could be used to build the DWC containers. I'm considering the following:
2 containers with 3 plants each or 3 containers with 2 plants each. I have no idea how wide the White Widow can get.
I'm guessing A 4 plant x 3 containers would be too aggressive for this endever.
By limiting the number of plants to 6 the amount of light reflected off of the Mylar wall covering will be greater.
At least that's my thoughts at this time.

See attachment for a pic of the closet in question.:!:

I want max produce for the space available. Experienced input and ideas are appreciated. Has anyone here just grown in the closet?
This is certainly outside of a box. lol:eyesmoke:

Thanks

IMO, don't divide the space. Start small and learn. Put a simple dwc in there with about 4 plants. Once you get the hang of it you should be able to harvest 2lb a year out of there.

Simple is what I like.

I've studied the forums and have a good idea
on how to get started and build a system that will work.

And now with the assistance you guys have added I can proceed.
If the harvest of 4 plants a couple times a year can provide
my personal needs I'm good to go.

I guess I was making this hobby harder than was necessary.

Thanks.
You Guys rock.

Pardon me now I'm off to get sto... ah "self medicate!":bigjoint:
