Quantum apocalypse , to kill mites

Figured I keep track of this shit somewhere. Long story short I had no mite problem for 3 years. Got mites from clones or possible super fleas from 6 kittens I was housing.

So originally I found 4 plants heavy infested webs ect. In 2 weeks flowering. Those 4 were removed and trashed. Two days later I sprayed the 40 ml per gallon of the stuff underside and tops of remaining plants. Had a busy week so got to another spray 40 ml 5 days later another time 3 days later , 3 days again and today agian 3 days later.

So I have seen eggs and bugs 3 days ago, the bugs I did noticed wernt moving.

The first time I didn't spray side of pots ground ect. Remaining times I have. The stuff smells pretty nasty so be warned if in your home. Easy to use and mix. Just don't use a spray bottle makes it real slow, I bought a 2 gallon pump spray for 15 bucks I'm at week 5 flower and it haven't slowed progress of buds or ruined any of beginning smells. I also have been pulling off all big fan leaves little ones I have been leaving. I think it will leave a coating on leaves but haven't affected anything I can tell.

thanx for reminding me, i gotta go nuke my girls before the lights kik on. I use mighty wash tho. I seen signs of mites last night when i was doing my daily inspections.

I picked up a bottle of quantumapocalypse organicneem oil at the organic grow hut about 2 weeks ago. I made 2applications about 4 days apart at the 80 milliliters per gallon and I canhonestly say that my spider mite problem on my medical cannabis is completelygone. I have been using all kinds of other products for the last 2 years andcan't believe how awesome this one actually works. Quantum apocalypse smellsexactly like a cold pressed neem oil spray but 10 times stronger and acts 10times stronger as Tamorin said. One ofthe employees told me that they had a customer that sprayed it on half a crop;it killed everything living on those plants and even kept the spider mites from thenon-sprayed plants away from the plants treated with quantum apocalypse. I have not seen a living spider mite in twoor three days now but I'm going to keep up at the 40 mil per gallon rate forthe next 3 to 4 weeks into flower. Ahhhh, being spider mite free feels awesome.

Worked very well. I used it only two times in veg and sprayed bleach wAter on everything else. Haven't seen any bugs back yet so that's nice. In flower room it's been at least two weeks since last spray and there's no sign of em , just some eggs that never hatch.

i use sns209 from www.sierranaturalscience.com and never worry about any insect. Its sestemic, you add it to your nutes and it forms a barrier against all bugs. the shit is amazing! i used to get mites too, but never a single bug since i started using it... best stuff on the market!

The following statements are only meant to be helpful, that's it. The bashing of one another on the RI section of this site I find to be very sad... Anyway, marc88101 I just wanted to caution you on using systemic insecticides. Systemic insecticides are absorbed through the root system and circulated throughout the plant by its vascular system. Regardless of whether a substance is "all natural", "organic", etc., just like a man made systemic insecticide such as marathon( Imidacloprid), it consist of chemical compounds. These chemical compounds, manmade or otherwise, penetrate the cell membranes and are translocated from cell to cell affecting the entire physiology of the plant (the reason insects may choose not to inhabit the plant). So.... regardless of what the manufacturer may say, ingesting, vaporizing, or smoking a plant treated with a systemic insecticide may be hazardous to your health. You are essentially a guinea pig for an unknown entity. I would want to know this if you were my caregiver.

You may say to yourself, "well if follow the manufactures suggestion and flush the plant 1-2 weeks before harvest it will be fine". Not necessarily true, first of all having to "flush" your plant of anything is not a good sign in my book. Second, there is a ton of research out there on how long systemic insecticides may be present in a plant, and the supposed effects of "flushing" the plant. Longer than you may think and not as effective as you may think.

On the other hand, using a product such as Quantum Apocalypse is much safer and more effective. The plant is not chemically altered in anyway and the active "chemical" compounds in the neem are broken down over a few day period. Therefore, if you follow the manufactures directions on the Quantum bottle, and don't use it within 3-5 days of harvest, you stand no risk of harmful effects. The research available on neem breakdown is widely available on the web as well. This point is exactly why it says on the Quantum Apocalypse bottle to spray the product at a lower rate every 5-7 days after the initial infestation has been eradicated. By doing a spray every week or so, you are deterring the pests from seeking out the plant(s) in addition to killing anything that may have decided to come visit between the day you last sprayed , and when the active compounds were no longer warding off pests.

In addition neem and the chemical compounds associated with it have been used and ingested by humans for centuries with no reported ill effects. On the other hand I could not find any information on the effects of smoking, vaporizing, or ingesting large quantities of rosemeric acid.

So what I am saying is, thanks for sharing. That is what this site is all about, right? Although, I don’t know that suggesting that adding a potential toxin to you medicine is great advice. Sorry.

Stick with the Quantum! I know almost a dozen other patients and caregivers whom have used the product and all of them are spider mite free!!! This is a Non-toxic, organic solution that actually does what it says. A rarity in this industry.

On a side note, it is my opinion that Quantum Apocalypse would also work as a systemic insectide. It would probably kick ass. I say this based on how much more effective it is as a spray over a product such as Azadirachtin which can also be used systemically or sprayed. That said, I am not suggesting it.

Sorry dude alls I know is the people that make it work go a horticultural department and its been their secret weapon for 10 years , I grabbed a 6 pack from the grow hut in smithfield. I talked to th dude about bigger bottles but apparently cause of the micro something they can only make it in small batches. Honestly I got it all over me even in my eyes and it didn't burn , smells like semen though ;) no joke it wired gross smell and will linger if u don have a carbon filter. There is no website.

just ordered some, looks awesome. any insight on how its mixed? just add it to water? been using neem/karanja oil mix for some time, hope this will give it a run for its money! btw the sns stuff is the only thing other than neem mixes that did a great job for me. if it was cheaper id still be using it.

simple to mix, measure out the desired quantity of quantum and mix into the proper amount of water. I suggest using a 2 gallon pump sprayer and not just a little spritzer bottle. you really want to soak the plants down getting the undersides first. 80 ml per gallon took care of my problem. just been keeping up with a preventative 40 ml spray every week and I'm totally clean.

The guy’s from the grow hut were at the RIPAC meeting the other night giving out free bottles of quantum apocalypse. Everyone has spider mites! It’s crazy! Every bottle that they had with them was passed out. They said to stop by the store for a free bottle if you were at the meeting and didn’t get one. Anyway, I got home, found this posting and sprayed after reading your comments. I’m going to spray again tonight but this morning when I took a look at my plants all I saw was black eggs and dead spider mites. Thanks guys.

I do the perpetual thing. Pulled down at least 4 times since using QA. The first batch was pulled down 7 days after i sprayed. My meds did not taste, smell, or dry any differently than before i started using the product. Really the only difference is the my plants are happier now because they are free of mites :)!!

Tamorin , when I first see mites I usually try mixing 3 oz water to 1 oz alcohol at 72% and spray a fine mist right at em` . The spray evaporates quick and kills em` on contact ( this works pretty good ) insecticidal soap from Home Depot can be used everyday - up to harvest , also works well and was suggested by the URI gardeners ( about 6$ for 32 oz ).............. I also like a systemic but only in grow . Seems like you need more than 1 kind of agent to rid yourself of them , at least that's my experience .

So I have tripes now fucking larva is huge can't miss em. I have a drain in my floor that I think bugs get in from so now on I'm going to spray everything down every week with or without plants really getting sick of being the only of my group of friends with bugs. Anyway sprayed 40 ml to gallon 3 days ago doing today same thing and agian on Sunday. The shitty part of this is I didn't put this into a schedule so with work and life it makes this to be a problem. My suggestion to everyone is do it anyways every 2 weeks of life after been rooted and make it part of your schedule.

Will, Thrips, VERY easy to eradicate, but you HAVE to use something with SPINOSAD in it. I suggest Capt Jacks deadbug brew,....one app, gone, promise.
