Quantum Kush - Hype or real deal?

Yo, who is running TGA Quantum Kush?

I was very excited about these seeds, love him or hate him, Subcool has some serious dank and unique shit. Quantum Kush was the new release from TGA that was supposed to be the 'super high THC' strain. People making claims of up to 30%

So I gets mine and it does look fantastic in growth and flower, dripping with resin as usual with TGA, and a good, but not awesome structure and smell. Thing is, I am only seeing high teens THC% on a couple tests. Some other TGA stuff also looks incredible resinous, but does not test as high as you would think.

Do I just have a weak pheno? Is there legit 25%+ THC version of Quantum Kush that anyone is seeing?

I've seen weed tested at 30%, 35%, and then other times the same cloned strain will be in the low 20%'s. I think the high THC weed grows are occurring more in cooler seasonal weather, in this area anyway, and i am talking about indoor growing of course. I am growing some Quantum Kush and Mickey Kush. Mickey has also tested at 30% and is also made from Sweet Irish Kush mother, but with a different male. My son seems to be preferring the Mickey Kush over eight other jars of strains including 9 LB Hammer, Querkle, and another Urkle based plant. I have been watching Elemental Wellness in San Jose CA, a top-notch MMJ place selling the best weed in the San Francisco Bay Area, sell weed for the last several years and the higher temperature season's do not produce the higher THC ranges as far as i have noticed. The clone provider's are using testing to pull out the one best plant to use as a clone. Plants from individual seeds cannot be guaranteed to produce what the individual tested-plant was able to make. I buy strong seeds too, hoping for strong weed, but going over 20% by very much is still rare. I have some ugly, home-made strains that will hit us harder than a lot of the name brand i grow. That's why i never grow one strain, or even five strains. Bland weed in quantity is still bland weed. Variety is a better high, and it gets you more high than smoking one or two strains at once. I smoke at least five at once for this reason.
