Quest dehumidifiers

Any growers running Quest or Santa Fe dehumidifiers added a humidistat for accurate humidity control?

I haven't used my Quest 105 other than to test out the box, about to flip into flower but I see the dial control is really vague and has no RH setpoints.

I'm wordering if there's value in efficiency in adding a humidistat outlet controller to flip the thing on only when it hits above RH50% or something? Does it run continuously and if so does it cycle? I know its efficient but not sure if its inverter-based or just from low heat output.

I imagine it would work well running 15mins on/off or something similar as a basic setup.

If you got one, tell me how you use yours...

I started using these recently and I know what you mean, the dial just goes from high to drier or something. I hooked up a Titan humidity controller to it and set it at 60%. I run sealed rooms and hung the quest from the ceiling. I put my hand in front of the exhaust every now and then and it seems like it is always running but sometimes it is room temp air and sometimes I feel the heat.
