Question about a slow start

Here is the setup:

Seeds from Nirvana - AK48 and WW.

Used rockwool cubes to germinate. All seemed to go well. I did adjust the pH and used distilled water (corrected pH) for watering at the start.

One day after the seedling sprouted, I placed them under CFL lighting that was about 12 inches away. They remained under a dome during this time. After 1 week, they were moved to a small bubbling setup. Still in the rockwool, still distilled water with 24x7 bubbler going (kinda a tray setup). CFL lights on 20 hours per day.

My issue is that I am now nearing 3 weeks in and the seedlings are just now growing their first set of "pointed" leafs. To me it seems like I have an super slow grow going on.

Thoughts? Anyone have any daily pictures to show so I can compare?

Thanks in advance!

I thinks 12 inches for cfl's was way too far away. If they're still that far away get em closer.

I wouldn't worry. If they ate alive and growing, be patient and out of nowhere theywill grow.Without a pic, hard to say on lights.

cfl bulbs should be about 2-3 inches away.
put your hand under and keep lowering it until 2-3 inches and it should be warm on your hand but not hot.
cfl's dont have a very long distance that they are useful at so closer the better
but yeah it does sound like they are behind.
my plants at 3-4 days had their first true set of leaves, maybe even at day 2 after they sprouted
pics would be helpful

this is day 3 pic fr my plant
