Question about aeroponics

I am use to putting clones in soil. For the aeroponics woul I just put the clipping in the rock wool and that is it? And as for planting seeds would it just be germinating them and then just pop em into the rock wool and soon enough the roots will grow to the water reservoir?

I think you dont have to germinate them just put them in a rock wool.

My experience with seeds in rockwool is that they will push out the top long before they work their way out the bottom. I germ in the paper towel, slit the rockwool and slide the seedling into the rockwoool with the first leaves just above the cube. Just make sure to soak the cube in pH water before you start. Clones, there are tons of great tutorials out there on this site. Read up and see what you think will work best for you. Good luck.

It is the same, I use a cloning gel with it as well.

I just put my seed in rockwool, it always works. I'm growing 2 mj plants now but have used rockwool for a long time to germinate chilli seeds. Not one seed failed so I'm kinda happy with rockwool, it's very easy !
