QUESTION about CFLS!

Hi guys...This is the second thread Im starting on here, the first one was probs with my babies and I asked a question bout cfls on there that no one answered yet so I decided to start a new one.
I have 5 plants with CFLS: 6 X 26 watt 6500K, 1 X 23 watt 6500K, 2 X 4100K, 23watt 2700K X2, 1 X 45watt 2700K, and 2 X 40 watt 2700K. SO 14 lights total. I also have good ventilation with 3 pc fans lightly blowing air in, and one at the top on high blowing it out (one of the intake fans connected to the window with a hose and brings in cold air from outside to keep the temp down)
My plants are just over a month old (pics attached), range from about 4-7 and 1/2 inches. THese new pics are with 12/14 lights in there. Should I be using all of them, or just the full spectrum ones right now?? I just added the 2700K ones in a couple days ago and just want to know.
Also, will that amount of light be sufficient to flower these babies to get like an oz per female? I dont know if I should buy like 3 more of those 40-45 watt 2700K for $12 a piece. Ill strive for more in the future but have low expectation on my first grow
Oh yeah and one more thing, I've read that CFLS dont create high intense enough light for the leaves to process co2? So co2 for my plants wont be beneficial, even though the temp goes up to 94 sometimes ?(but rarely)
THANKS!

Is that foil hanging in there? Foil causes hot spots. Take it down. Your temp should never go above 85.

I've discovered the cheapest Mylar around-- only 2 bucks$! You save 18 bucks$ a roll! It?s a Christmas present wrapping Mylar called Polywrap

- Waterproof
- 50 square ft. a roll
- 1 mil (@ .001 inch) thick X 3 1/2 ft. wide X 20ft long.

Note: Only buy the very Bright and shiny Mylar-type wrapping!

Yes, it is tinfoil (the dull side). Those baking sheets seem to reflect good (one can be seen in the 2nd pic). I saw the other day these sun reflectors for your car winshield and thought that they might be perfect? THey were $3 each

Use white paint. Its better for reflecting then what you are using and what you are talking about using. The material in the picture above is even better then that. Get it at your dollar store.

The following is pure speculation and is based off of my personal readings from the internet. Reliability is not guaranteed. Any one who wants to tell me I am wrong please do so, politely.

Well plants have to process Co2 regardless of temperature regardless of light. It is what they breathe in (so to speak) they output,(or breathe out if you will) O2. The higher the temperature the better they process the Co2. So adding co2 (depending on the temperatures and the environment) should make them grow faster.

One thing alot of people miss is not merely the lumens per bulb, but the actual lumens per square foot. Each set up is different so for instance... MY set up for lights concentrates lumens per square foot by alternating the bulbs so they are actually feeding off each others direction of light and by concentrating the beams with the reflectors = More lumens per square foot = better processing of Co2 (too much heat will cause your plant to grow slow but at a cirtain temp range Co2 will process better (also causes higher heat, hotter light, and can't be placed as close to the foliage as say a clip on arm lamp facing the plant) experiment and be happy with what works.

Thanks for the input guys. I just finished reading an excellent CFL grow guide (6pages) on grasscity Kamel's CFL Guide - Grasscity.com Forums but still am left in the dark whether to use the 2700K lights for more light during veg stage, or just save them til flowering?? I just think this might screw with the spectrum and possibly will reduce the blue light from the 6500K ones?? Im just speculating, but dont want to be wrong....
That 6 page post had TONS of info but only talked about using 6500K during flowering (which he started an experiment, but did not post the results anyways?? was pissed, the post is from 06, but I sent him a PM)
Ill leave them in there for now, until I get more info

Both spectrums are good for veggie stages the more light you can provide the better..Turn them all on,,
