Question about DWC

I've been reading up on deep water cultivation and so far it seems like my favorite way of growing. The only thing I'm worried about is the yield amount...I know indoor growing doesn't yield as much as outdoor...but I've heard that you do get high yields from deep water cultivation. What is typically the normal yield for a dwc setup for one plant? And also...is it a problem to have the plants too close together? I was thinking it might be since the roots would possibly tangle, and if i were to have different strains of clones in there...would it effect the growth and strain of the plant?
Or could it just create a cross??:?

I haven't actually set it up yet, but i plan on using a 1000watt HPS light and a decent size tuppaware container with four netpots about 3 inches apart...im still not sure on the nutes either. I'm just looking for an estimate of what the typical yield is.

under a 600 or 1000w HPS light...with the proper nutrients and the right climate, what would the typical yield be?

It all depends really on what your grow space is like, to get the optimal amount of bud you have to keep them small, just grow the cola but have more of them per system, this is how you get the most and best bud. Growing from seed in one of these dwc kits is not the way to go. If your going to do that you would need individual 5 gallon buckets and have a recirculating system.

To get the most from a large container dwc you have to maximize the amount of bud that receives light. Dont waste time on growing big plants, the bottom 2/3rds is only a stand and some fluffy bud just grow the cola but fill your space with them.
