Question about flowering clones

So if I were to take some clones from a G13 Labs Super Skunk ( not thai x super skunk.. Just the plain "Super Skuk" ) and flower them immediately, would it be possible to grow them lollipop style in 20oz cups w/ 1 cola by trimming other branches as I have seen some ppl do w/ other strains?

I beleive you would need to give it 2-4 weeks to establish some good roots before you do that or I do not believe they will be able to support them self.

yea I would wait till it had rooted well enough.. I should have made that more clear. Im just wondering if this strain could be cloned and grown in a 20oz cup lollipop/single cola stye succesfully.I only have 1 (fem) seed and would love to try and grow a few very small single cola buds in a few small cups.

what do you mean? I will let the mother get to a decent size.And I have seen ppl get 10+ clones from one plant man.. I dont want to / cant grow more than a few anyway..4 at the most.. Im just wondering if the method above would work with the G13 Super Skunk strain is all.

i get 4 to 8 clones by taking a couple lower branches off and taking as many clones off that. you want to establish a root struture be4 flowering.

Your technique would work fine for that strain. I've done it in a diy 3 gallon cloner.
I'm more a fan of the Thai strain. Tastes coffee-ish.

I originally posted this in the 'does trimming cause hermies' thread, but it fealt like I was threadjacking so I figured I'd just post here.

Mine got pretty tall ...closer to 2.5'. I wish I had pics because it was a funny setup involving 2" net pots in a bubble cloner. I didn't have any more room in my flower room so I rigged a smaller stealth rig to flower them.
They started of slow but started growing like mad after week 3. Beautiful plant. My first sativa dom., actually. Free seeds from Attitude so it was a win-win-win as Michael Scott would say.
If you have to stay under 1.5' and really want to lollipop ...I just don't know! Your cola's gonna get taller than you want, I think.
Are you anti LST for this grow?

no im def not anti LST . I have some Blueryder seedlings about a week old and im using a HOT5 set up and im prolly gonna do a SOG,SCROG or at least LST because from what ive read there is gonna be a major diff in height between plants ( see this guys blueryder journal I found on the net > CLICK HERE < ) so I am certain ill have the best results if I try and keep an even canopy since im using a HOT5 6 lamp 4ft light.. BUT, the fem super skunk and also a few free G13 Armageddon seedlings ( the armageddons are not fems so iunno how there gonna work out ) I was gonna try to grow lollipop style in 16-20oz cups under a few cfls in another cab just for shits and giggles.. Heres what I want to do w/ the Super Skunk and the Armageddons >

don't get mewrong that is bad ass, but i don't ever seeing myself wasting my time on a grow like that even if it was for shits and giggles. im in it for the yieldsto get me threw to my next grow. shit that bud will be smoked in 1/2 hour to my head only. LOL

Wow! They're doing some cool stuff over in that thread. I can't believe I never looked in there before.
I wish I had more info on how to keep your Super Skunks under your height limit when lollipopping.
Mine definitely got taller then 1.5'.
I hope someone has a better solution for you than I.

well tbh I only have a lil soil left at the moment and dont have enough soil or even space for that matter to grow them full size. and like I said I have some blueryders going as my "main" grow.. Im basically just bored and wanna start a side "project" lol
