question about Germination of seeds need help asap

I have not I use paper towels you dont want them to get any light.
i need help I'm rookie

just a paper towel and a glass is the best. Look up a thread on it its here some where with pics and all, but i always just put in dirt around half inch down and light close as possible and 24 hours and let nature take its course

i use the cup of water method and the paper towel method.
cup of water: just like the name says take a cup of water and drop the seeds in. after a short while if they sink they will grow
paper towel: just as self explanatory, you put seeds in a wet paper towel and wait till you see the seed split to know it will grow.
is the area where your trying to germinate cold? seeds need a spring like temp to sprout so this might be your overlooked problem

I totally overlooked germ temps and found it to be the single most important factor. I was having trouble and did a little experiment and found that the paper towel, plug, directly in soil or cup of water all work when TEMPS ARE 80 -90 degrees consistently. Dont let the temp drop below 75 and you will be good.
Also planting directly in the soil or substrate you eventually want to end up will speed up the seedling phase. Transferring them out of the paper towel can sometimes cause minor damage to the taproot temporarily stunting the seedling until it heals the delicate taproot.

I use the 12 hour presoak in water, which i place on my cable tv box this keep the water at 80-90 degrees.
Then I place them in paper towel, in the same containers on the cable box again until a taproot shows, then i gently plant.
long as they are warm, moist with clean ph 6.5-7 water, and dark there should be no problem. If you ordered from nirvana-shop (not gypsy nirvana) they will send you a replacement if they don't end up germinating.
And just something to add, the reason why i dick around with the presoak is because with thicker seeds, sometimes they will either not germ, take longer to germ, or germinate but not make it all the way out of the seed and die or mutate if placed right in soil. The presoak just makes it easier for the seeds to crack due to the constant moisture, and it seems to start the germination process a bit quicker. It also allows you to confirm that the seed has cracked, instead of digging through soil and possibly damaging a late bloomer. I will admit there is the disadvantage of stress when planting the taproot, but I've had no problems and find it hard to do damage if you plant as soon as the root shows.
