Question about growing in shed during winter

I was thinking about buying a 8x10 ft shed to start growing in. But what I wanted to know was would it be easy to maintain a constant temperature during winter. I though that it might get too cold during winter and I wouldn't be able to keep the room temperature high enough. Or will cheap electric heaters do the trick? Because the shed that I plan on purchasing doesn't really have any insulation really so it doesn't keep that much heat.

Any advice is appreciated

you could insulate the shed with some insulation from lowes just tape it or glue on the inside of the shed seal any openings or cracks should do the trick combined with maybe 1 big heater and the hps that should be sufficient how cold does it get where you live in the winter ?

I live in Quebec Canada, so it can go down to -13F. I was planning on using CFLs since im on a low budget. And any ideas on what type of insulation I should use?

Thanks for the replies :joint:

Just regular insulation like the outside walls of your home. I bet you would find a couple of electric heaters would keep it warm and slide you in a small a/c unit if you need cooling.
