Question about hairs [ 11 weeks and still white ]

Hey guys, I have been basically giving them just water for 2 weeks and they looked like they were going to be done and then I let them keep going because I know that was just the trickery of the plant but im seeing all cloudy trichomes with all white hairs...

does the plant need nutrients to change the hairs from white to red? That is basically all I want to know.

I'd just feed it, and keep letting it grow.

does it have any fan leaves left or did they go yellow and drop off?, what have you been feeding it?, what strain is it?, what grow medium?.

if you can answer all 4 and post a picture you will get the right answer.

I have a C99 now in GH that has a lot of white pistols and I decided to check the trics as its sorta over due ..to my surprise it was all cloudy with about 10% amber...but the hairs were snow white with the exception of the top buds whisch are just turning orange,,so she is getting the cut today when I finish trimming another plant...

Yeah, sometimes stressful conditions will make trichs look ready too.
When you harvest early, and you wonder why you aren't getting the high you want, you'll know better next time.

Don't "decide" it's ready cuzz you think it should be, she will tell you when she's done and it won't be a whisper.

Strain headband s1 from Loud seeds
They are starting to turn from green to ugly colors and they are slowly dropping off
I have been feeding fox farms nutrient line, I gave them a last shot of the base nutrients and cha ching 2 weeks ago.
grow medium is soil

They are all super sativa leaning even though the "description" said mostly indica. Doesn't bother me at all but I shouldn't have stopped feeding them as early as I did.

I have harvested before plenty of times, I know what early is and this is nowhere near the early your thinking of. Hell it might be exactly what your thinking, I was expecting an indica dominant headband and got the sativa side of things. Where I was expecting to go 9 weeks I am going on 13 almost. This isn't a matter of impatience it is more a matter of the plant is starting to lose its leaves but they are way too white of hairs for me to even think of chopping it.

I just don't want to take her too long and start getting the CBN.

They WERE healthy green but now they are fading fast and I am kicking myself now for not reading the plants right.

They smell so damn good though, they have the density that I was lacking from last round thankfully because of the lower temperatures.

[ I have removed hardly any leaves, I been doing the UB way and left them all on. ]

I feel ya, in 2012 I had this problem too. Unknown strain though, went almost 15 weeks before I cut her.
White hairs still, got high, but this damn plant could have gone another few weeks I swear.
Have you tried a sample? They look ripe to me.

I clipped off one of the smaller tops I had and it is currently drying. Should only be two more days before it is super super dry. (I live in the mountains and the humidity is hard to get past 20%)
Thank you for the compliment too btw! I wish I could pass you some of this hash I made from my last round, it was larfy so I bought some bubble bags and now im flyin!

I am thinking I should take her down soon I have been trying to let her do her thing but shes taking her sweet ass time.

to be fair i don't think they will grow any more as most of the fan leaves are dead, the buds themselves look very ripe to me so i wouldn't have a problem chopping them. i never look at the trichomes though, up to you bud but i think you will be happy with the final result either way.

imo you shouldn't have stopped feeding them.

i just had another look and i think you should chop asap, dying leaves going into the buds can cause some nasty side effects, not worth the risk of losing such pretty looking buds

I've been looking at the trics and I take a sample to quick dry and smoke in my vape to test. I like my C99 just turning to reddish. Some white on the end colas. I like an up high. If I let it go very long after it loses the rush effect in the head. Try a smoke.

How did you make your hash?
I tried las year, bought a set of bags, but used dry ice cause it looked easier.
Never made the actual hash, I just left it as kief, but it was brown/green, and .....meh.
I was thinking of trying to make
Wax or whatever this year, but
I am having a problem letting myself saturate herb in butane. : /
I want to try it though.....

Ice , water, buds/trim. I used almost every bag but then was told that it is sometimes better to consolidate more into less bags otherwise you lose some flavor and smell. It is curing right now, going to give it 6 weeks and then see how it is. It was the easiest thing I have done in a while I was really surprised at how easy it was.

I don't want to make wax, I know people who have ; blown up their house, been arrested, burned their hands to the point where they can't even jerk off, and again arrested. All different people but I learn from others just as much as I learn from myself. The risk is not worth the reward imo.

ALSO if you don't know how to properly clean it then you are just giving your lungs a run for their money.
