Question about interupting lighting

I have a few plants flowering with about 20 days left. I need a repair person to come into my house for about a day so I was thinking about hiding them in a deep freezer for about 24 hours. Is this dangerous for the plant?? I don't really have another option.

They should be ok as long as its only for a day, and the freezer is off lol.

Get at least some marginal lighting in there with them for their 12 hr light period.

Freezer is a good option, but at least get some bunk 2700K CFLs in there.
