Question about leaves, and plant progress

First of all, I was wondering if it is possible for a plant to have different types of leaves based on the amount of water the plant has when the leaves sprout? My bottom set (the one being held by the thumb) of leaves are thicker and wider and feel heavier which means it's looking for water and I accidentally flooded it when those leaves were forming. And I've been on a couple of trips lately and haven't watered it and the top leaves are skinnier so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the watering I give it.

And I also wanted to know if my plant is looking good. It's exactly a month old now but it's my first so I don't know if the progress is good or not.

The lower leaves are allways bigger. Your plant looks good. I would not stress and just keep doing whatever it is you are doing!
