Question about MMJ card

I have 3 documented visits to my doc for severe back spasms and I was perscribed meds (flexeril) and it doesnt work. It makes me sick and dizzy. I also have bad acid reflux and have to take prilosec (Daily) for that. I had spoke with the weed doc office and they said I need 3 visits..Would these three visits above be enough to qualify for the MMJ card?... 2 Back spasm visits and one for my stomach issues?

Will they tell me if I need 1 more visit to my personal doctor or would they just blow me off?

Also do all of these docs charge 200 for the visit? Is their a cheaper route I can take?

I am not going to start using marijuana until I have my card in hand because I cant afford to get into trouble. I used to use it daily for 6 years and quit because I was in some legal issues but now I can use this great medicine without fear of trouble as long as I am discreet.

Can any of you help me out here?

Depends on the doc, and your medical history.

There's nothing magical about 3 visits, other than what the doc feels is a long enough track record to justify signing off on a MMJ recommendation. As to cost, 200 is steep, most I see charge $100 for the eval. PM me if you are in So Cal and need a referral to a doc.

200.00 is the standard here in MI, (your in the michigan thread, not cali?) here in Traverse City if they dont cert you, you dont pay the fee.

Ahh true. I just clicked on new posts, didn't see MI.

Is there a reason it's twice as expensive out there as Cali?

Well hopefully one of u can tell me if my situation is viable enough to get my MMJ card? I am really in need of it for pain. Today I can hardly get up and moving around before work. My back is really bad right now. I need something and pills are too rough on my body and my stomach.

Well I called one place and asked them what I would need to do to get a recommendation. They told me I would need to have 3 doctor visits for them to be able to decide if I could get an appointment. I have heard that it varies every place u go to. I have tried to contact and left messages with a few others in the last week and I haven't even got a call back from them...Maybe they are really busy? I dont really know.

I have visit 1 for my acid reflux and 2 for back spasms. My doctor just writes me a script for a muscle relaxer and sends me on my way. They dont work. Its not like I have a tolerance to them cause I dont even take tylenol or any kind of script for pain that would build a damn tolerance lol.

I just need some medicine that will work

Don't see why you gotta go 3 times. You think one visit would be enough.
They should issue a card for back spasms. I have chronic pain and also back spasms. That is what the dr. put on my form.
Not sure about the 200. for ALL 3. They might charge you.
One dr. should be able to decide to give you a card. Check into it.
Once your check is cashed by the State. You are ready. Make copies of your paperwork and put a copy up on your grow room and also in your vehicle. Good Luck
