Question About Neem Oil

1st time grower here, caught one of those little fat, opaque spider mite cocksucking bastards staring at me through my microscope today, so I went out and bout some neem oil, mixed up my spray bottle and gave my girls a shower. I read somewhere that neem oil is systemic. My question is this: couldn't you just add some to their water every couple of weeks to keep your girls pest-free?

No. You will kill the ones you spray. I think it disrupts their eating fucking so they starve and make no new offspring. But the eggs are already there so repeat evary few days until the eggs are hatched. I bombed the shit out of my room before starting this session and used neem up until a fe weeks into flower. Not a mite in sight. I use neem concentrate. I use 1/2 tsp in 1 1/2 litres of water along with 1/2 tsp dish sopa. WARM water. then I rinse the leaves off with clean water. No fans on and not under the light or that shit will mess up your leaves. I use more water than prescribed by 5ooml and I keep stirring it while I`m using it. Kills the mites and does not make blotches on leaves. Mites do not build up a resistance to it. YMMV
Some people including myself have used it as a root drench but I do not anymore.
I spray mist the soil and the outside of the buckets though
Good luck

Ok. Thanks. Yeah, mine isn't concentrate, so I'm mixing 1 1/2 tsp to a quart of water w/ a 1/2 tsp. of dish soap. I dimmed my ballast (MH, two weeks into veg) down from 750 to 500 watts when I sprayed them. How's it fuck your leaves up?

Neem will not fug up the leaves unless you spray under direct light and leave them on. I spray my plants just after the light goes out, then cover the bottom of the hood with cardboard to keep the spray out of the light, turn off the room fan then spray, by lights on time there will be no problem just shinny leafs.

hello everyone ,

I need some clarification on using neem oil. i have been told neem oil reduces the trich production. but i think its my temps in the grow room.
this is the mixture i use 1 Liter of water , 2.5mL of neem oil and three drops of dish soap. i spray every three days from day one when i put the clones soil till 1 to two weeks in to flower or when i start seeing bud formation.
i spray with the lights off and turn them back on 2 hours after or when i know the leaves are dry.
room would get up to 31 to 34C durning flowering. and at night about 16 to 20C.
