Question about pruning 5 week old bubba kush plant

is it ok to prune her so that the leafs on the bottom can get light? Please help... I have pulled most water leafs off on bottom, left the tops with water leaves only? Is she going to be ok?

5 weeks in what cycle? Still in veg? Chop all you want just let her regrow before the flip. 5 weeks in flower I wouldn't touch other than removing dead stuff.

She’s barley starting to grow Budlets going into the 6th week... I figured I’d crop her so some of the leaves get some light... I didn’t wanna pull the leaves but in order for them to grow do t they need to be cropped? Some of it?

In my opinion, an example of a strain that needs defoliation to an extent is Bubba Kush... would this be considered true? And I really didn’t want to prune too much but I did and now I’m regretting it, but hopefully she’s gonna be ok?

Live and learn man, she's still alive but I would leave her alone to do her thing. I'm not an expert on defoliation I'll let someone else chime in. My main goal of any grow is to just get the plant healthy and strong, for cannabis that means 8-12" wide fan leaves to support heavy bud growth.

You are down to just sugar leaf there.
Plants are resilient though. Leave it alone and it will push through.

That’s a textbook defoil, good job.

They seem to have good results and I’m going to try going that aggressive on my current grow to see how it works out. Best of luck!

edit: just as a side tip, it looks like you manifolded nicely but then let them run a bit wild. Don’t be scared to top more in veg to keep your canopy level and give you more bud sites.

rock on man, post up some harvest pics when she's all done. bubba kush looks like a winner strainwise
To be honest man, this is my first grow tent plant, and I couldn’t have picked a more suitable plant to grow with... bubba is definitely a strong solid plant to start off with as well as to grow... I would definitely recommend bubba, she can be a real jewel to grow if proper procedures are met THANK U

Damn I feel like I’m stressing about pulling them off... I know they are resilient plants but I absolutely dislike fucking something up I spent so much of my time with... live and learn I understand, but I don’t think I messed up too bad if anything it probably won’t yield as much or be as potent

My outdoor plant had almost all its fan leaves decimated by bugs this summer. Basically left with just sugar leaf and budsites like yours.
I dont think the buds got as big as they should have.
Potency was good, just not as much of it.

I started beastie bloom last week on Thursday after combining both grow and bloom nutrient to up the nutrient number. I think I started the beastie nutrient late tho... we’ll see how it turns out man I’ll keep you all posted
